House wine was solid and the lasagne al forno hit the spot. Rich, cheesy, exactly what I needed. Place has a nice vibe too. 🍷

Came here on a random weekday evening. Place wasn't too packed but service still took a while. Got the pasta and it was decent, nothing crazy. The vibe is chill though, good for just sitting around. If you're in a rush maybe skip it, but fine for a lazy dinner.

The location of this café is beautiful, right in the heart of Basel. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and take in the scenery.

The interior felt a bit like an Ikea beach house—light wood, lots of white. Not bad, just not super cozy. But the lake and mountain view from the table made up for it. I had the fish and it was fresh, came out quick. Service was friendly too. Would sit by the window again, just maybe bring a cushion.

The Thai coconut curry rice reminded me of Singaporean cai fan but better. CHF 11 for a takeaway box is fair for the portion. They've got pricier made-to-order stuff too, though I didn't try those. Solid spot if you're nearby and want something quick.

The bartenders really know their stuff—friendly and quick, made me feel right at home. Drinks were solid, though it got a bit loud later in the evening.

The buffet had plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering. Only wish the seating area was a bit more comfortable, but overall a solid spot.

This restaurant offers a unique experience with excellent pan-European food, making it a hidden gem worth visiting.
