TheForkUserFrom the moment we walked into this lowkey restaurant that could have been someone's personal kitchen and dining room, in the warmest and most comfortable way possible, we were immediately greeted by the owner (Andre, I believe). He showed Italian hospitality and appreciation for our choosing his restaurant and aimed to please. While tehre are an abundance of typical "Italian" dishes and specialities of Lake Garda on the menu, he was quick to let us know that the kitchen can make almost anything, even if not on the menu. This was music to my kids who each wanted simple pasta, which is all homemade! The wine list was excellent, the food was impeccable, and the service was so warm and accommodating.

TheForkUserWe chose the restaurant because of the good food and service reports. Both were correct. Food was was local, well cooked and presented and service was attentive and informative. We were the only people eating at lunchtime bar two walkers. If driving, be warned that mapping apps appear to take you to within a short walking distance of this stunningly positioned ski/walking hut when in reality you need to come off the road onto a narrow, bumpy single two kilometre track to access the restaurant. If you have a sturdy car that’s fine or consider leaving your car at the bottom and walking up the track. It us worth the walk!
