Grabbed a quick lunch here. The vegan sausage sourdough toastie was spot on. Came with a decent pile of crisps and salad too. Good portion for the price. Got me in and out fast, which is exactly what I needed.

The lasagne special today was so comforting. Staff were lovely and chatty, which made the whole thing feel really warm. Much cosier vibe than that other spot down the road.

The vegan doughnuts were a nice surprise - six different kinds! Appreciated the variety of plant milks too.

Popped in for a quick coffee after browsing the market. The flat white was spot on, really smooth. It's a nice little spot to sit and watch the square.

They had water bowls out and even some dog treats. My pup was happy, so I could actually relax and enjoy my coffee. Makes a big difference when you're out with the dog.

Stopped in for the champagne breakfast. Portions were just right, and the food was cooked perfectly. A nice way to start the day.

Service was really lovely. I was on the train when I realised my latte wasn't quite right. They actually brought a fresh one to my carriage to sort it out. Very kind and made the whole thing so easy.

Greek pitta special was spot on. Coffee? Seriously good. Staff were lovely, stayed late just so we could get ice cream.

The almond croissant is just right, not too sweet. Paired with my usual flat white, it's my go-to quiet moment. Gets a bit hectic around 10 AM, but that's when the pastries are freshest.

The steak pie was pretty good, flaky crust and tender filling. Chips and gravy were decent too. Convenient spot near the market.

The beef sandwich was spot on, really hit the spot with my latte. Just the right kind of quiet buzz for a solo coffee. A bit pricey for what it is, but that sun on the terrace made it worth it.

The jacket potato and beans were pretty good on a Sunday visit. Portions are generous. Service was fine, though it did feel a bit rushed.

Popped in for a scone and tea. The scone was warm, clearly baked that day. Really good texture, not dry at all. The tea was hot and strong. Just a nice, simple stop.

Stopped by for breakfast. Good view of the viaduct, which was a plus. Food was hot and well-prepared. Appreciate that they're dog-friendly, makes it convenient.

The bagel sandwich was the star - the salmon was so fresh and the cream cheese had a lovely hint of dill. The space is tiny, but the music was a great vibe. Just wish there was a bit more room to sit!

As a vegan, I'm always on the lookout. The sheer number of home-baked options here is a relief. Had the chocolate cake, and it was honestly so good.

Popped in for a late breakfast. The pancakes were warm and fresh, came with a huge pile of bacon and loads of syrup. Just what I needed. Staff were nice too.

The oat latte is a standout. They serve it with a little heart-shaped shortbread, which is a nice touch. The coffee itself is excellent, really well-balanced. It paired nicely with the quiet morning vibe. A solid spot for a proper coffee.

Lovely spot for a quiet coffee. The sleepy jazz music is a nice touch, really adds to the cosy vibe. Perfect for just sitting and watching the street for a while. My latte was good, though it did cool down a bit quickly.

Found this spot tucked away. Bench seating was surprisingly comfy. Music had that old-school, chill vibe. Just right for a quiet lunch.

The coffee is reliably good, but I wish they had more interesting options for pairing with pastries. The staff are always lovely.

Serious coffee knowledge here. The barista asked a few questions and suggested a pour-over. It was incredibly smooth, one of the best I've had. Cakes looked great too, maybe next time.

Great to see a dedicated vegan menu. The dairy-free chocolate cake was the highlight, worth the trip for that alone. Dog-friendly policy is a definite plus.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying for lunch. The shortbread is seriously moorish, couldn't stop at one piece. Brownies were a solid follow-up. Just a nice, simple spot.

Cute spot with lovely decor. Had the full English - eggs were spot on, bacon nice and crisp. The gluten-free toast was a thoughtful touch. Tea selection is impressive, tried the Earl Grey. A solid choice for a relaxed breakfast.

A really nice spot to unwind. The no-laptops rule is great, it keeps the place feeling calm and social. The staff were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. A lovely, quiet atmosphere for a relaxed lunch.

Loved the cheese scone here. So warm and flaky, it just hit the spot on a grey afternoon. The whole place has this lovely, slightly odd charm.

The 2-for-1 cocktails are always a good shout. It's just a solid, dependable place for a drink. The vibe is always easy, never feels like they're trying too hard.

This place is my go-to for a quick lunch. The brie and bacon panini is spot on every time. Coffee's always hot and ready. In and out in 20 minutes. Perfect for a busy day.
