The ice cream was super creamy, you can tell they use good stuff. But for the price, the scoop size was a bit small. Still, a nice way to end the night.

The fish tacos were so fresh and flavorful, especially the AY PAPA one! 😋 Perfect for sharing with friends over a casual dinner. The chipotle queso was a great start. Honestly, just a really solid spot for a laid-back group hang.

The patio is huge, great for a long, lazy dinner. Inside feels a bit cramped, but the dark wood and low lighting give it a cool, moody energy. Music volume was just right.

The calamari fritti was so light and not greasy at all. A really good portion for two people!

I had a great time at Joy District for a friend's birthday! The rooftop area had a cool vibe and the music was enjoyable. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

Fun Saturday night. DJ was great, outdoor vibe was lively. That ice shot bell game is unique. Paloma and queso fundido were really good.

Love the rotating donut flavors here. The lemon pistachio old-fashioned is my go-to, pairs perfectly with a black coffee for a quiet morning. Red velvet's solid too. Fun, colorful spot.

The mashed potatoes and Portuguese rice were fantastic. I paired them with a nice Pinot Noir, which worked really well. The peri-naise for the fries is definitely worth the extra buck.

Got the regular platter for takeout. Honestly, the portion was huge for the price. Ended up with a whole second meal for the next day. Food was fresh and tasted good.

The kimchi is the star! So flavorful. We ordered the kimchi fried rice and kimchi slaw too. Perfect for sharing with friends over a casual meal. The place gets a bit loud when it's full, but that's part of the vibe.

Service was on point. Server remembered our drink refills without asking. Felt taken care of, not rushed. That's rare.

The pastries are fantastic, but the price point is a bit high for the portion sizes. I got a croissant and a coffee, and it was $12 before tip. The croissant was delicious, but it felt a little small for the cost.

Great spot to kick off a night out, always buzzing. Book ahead for sure. The house old fashioned was a solid choice to start—balanced and not too sweet. Vibe is spot on.

Got seated fast, which I appreciate. The sourdough focaccia was really good, fresh and warm. Perfect for a quick lunch bite. Service was friendly and efficient.

The frozen margaritas here are so good! Perfectly balanced, not too sweet. We ended up ordering a second round while catching up with friends. The chips and salsa they bring out are seriously addictive too.

Been getting their caramel apples for years. The caramel's thick and buttery, just right. I usually go for the ones with walnuts. It's a solid treat.

Great wine list, the server knew her stuff and suggested a nice red I hadn't tried before. Cocktail menu looked solid too. Perfect for a quick after-work drink.

The hot honey Brussels sprouts were so good! We split the spicy rigatoni and a crepe cake. Perfect for sharing with friends. The vibe is chill, not too loud for catching up.

Deep dish pizza takes 45 min to bake, which they tell you when you order. Good to know if you're in a rush. The wait was fine for us, and the pizza was solid. Thick crust, lots of cheese, and the sauce had a nice tang.

Armando’s memory is unreal. I’ve been coming here for a couple years now, and he still remembers my usual order from last month. He suggested the tres amigos drink again today—spot on, as always. That kind of consistency keeps me coming back.

Clean and modern spot, really bright. I like that you can see the kitchen from your table. Watching them prep everything is a nice touch, makes you feel comfortable about what you're eating.

The three-taco dinner was solid. Duck, pork chorizo, and smoked brisket were all well-seasoned. Rice and beans on the side worked well. Good portion for the price.

Been coming here for years. Their hand-cut fries are still the best in town - crispy outside, soft inside. Just like they've always been.

Great spot for a casual dinner with friends! The garage parking is a lifesaver downtown. We got the truffle fries and a couple pizzas to share. The vibe was perfect for catching up, not too loud. Just wish the fries were a bit crispier.

The lunch special is such a steal! Got the katsu curry and it was huge. My friend and I split it and were totally stuffed. Perfect for a casual catch-up without breaking the bank.

The atmosphere is so relaxed, we stayed for a while after finishing our meal. It was nice not to feel rushed.

The lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Our server Magdalena was really patient with us as first-timers, answering all our menu questions without any rush. It made the whole dinner feel relaxed.

The rotating pizza selection is great, and I appreciated being able to try a small slice of the blueberry sage. The booths are very comfortable, too.

Great spot for a post-work beer. They have a solid selection of local Chicago brews you don't find at every bar.
