Came for our work Christmas do. The place is nice and cosy. My steak was cooked right, but honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price tag. Everyone else seemed happy with theirs though.

Bringing your own takeaway from the noodle shop next door was a nice touch. The staff didn&#39;t mind at all, and it made for a relaxed, casual lunch. The space itself is bright and airy, perfect for that sort of thing.

The pre-theatre menu is such a nice midweek treat. Two courses for &pound;20 feels like a proper little escape. The lighting in the corner booth was just right &ndash; soft and warm.
