Love a proper pub without TVs blaring. The real ale selection is huge, had a lovely pint of their house bitter. Perfect spot for a proper chat over a pint.

Great old building, really nice atmosphere. Had a couple of Joules ales, they were spot on. Just what you want for a quiet pint and some decent food.

The view of the Shropshire hills from the ceremony spot is really something. Got some lovely photos.

The newly paved patio is a nice spot. It’s clean, the tables are sturdy, and the shade from the umbrellas was just right for a sunny lunch. A solid place to sit back and relax.

Came for a birthday. The staff were spot on—attentive but not in your face. The owner’s gesture of sharing his own birthday cake was a lovely touch. Paired it with a glass of their house red, which worked surprisingly well with the sweet sponge. A genuinely kind moment.

Nice spot for a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of space and the cocktails were on offer. Staff were friendly.

The homemade cakes and bread are definitely the star here. Had a slice of the lemon drizzle cake and it was so fresh, clearly baked on-site. You can just tell the difference. The bread for my sandwich was fantastic too.

Food's always spot on, never had a bad bite. A bit pricey, but you can taste the fresh stuff. Perfect for a nice catch-up with mates.

The sandwiches and toasties are the real deal here. Generous fillings, toasted just right. Had a curry too, it was tasty but the toasties stole the show for me. Good coffee, decent service. Solid spot for a quick, satisfying bite.

Been coming here for years. The stone vaults in the crypt never get old – feels like you've slipped back in time the moment you walk in. Just the right spot for a quiet pint.

The daily lunch special is the only reason I come. Soup, main, dessert, and a drink for a tenner. The food tastes like it's made fresh that morning, nothing fancy, just proper. The stew today was spot on.

Called in on a quick business stop. The cake display is genuinely impressive – a real highlight. Staff were polite and efficient. A solid spot for a coffee and something sweet.

Been coming here for years, the curry's always spot on. Rich and flavourful, just the way I like it. Place is clean, staff are friendly. Can't really fault it.

Late night spot for a solid meal when everything else is closed. Just what you need after a long day.

The panini and arrabiatta pasta were spot on, really generous portions too. Just what we needed after a long walk. Service was quick, no fuss. A solid spot.

Good breakfast spot, even when busy. Food was hot and well-prepared. Popular with cyclists.

Busy Sunday evening, so service was a bit slow. Food was solid though, everyone liked their meals. Decent value for the portion sizes.
