Curry was spot on, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The kheer dessert, served hot with jaggery, was a real highlight for me. Just a solid, straightforward meal.

Came in right before closing and they still served us, which was nice. The steak was tender, but honestly, for the price, the portion felt a bit small. I left thinking I could have gotten more elsewhere for the same money.

The mezze platter was a lovely start. But the grilled lamb skewers were the real star - so tender and full of flavour. Turkish coffee to finish was the perfect, slightly bitter endnote.

The refurb is so nice, really fresh and modern. We grabbed a table upstairs and the disco lights were such a fun touch for our group! Made the whole night. The food was good, staff were lovely.

Came for a quick lunch. The burger was solid, fries crispy. Service was fast, got my order in under 10 minutes. Perfect for a speedy bite between meetings.

The margarita here is a standout. Really good balance of tequila and lime, not too sweet. Just a solid, classic version done right. One of the better ones I've had around Chester.

Tried their festive menu last week. The Christmas specials were really well done, chef clearly knows his stuff. Portions were decent for the price. Bit of a wait for the main course though.

Lovely pub, and the beer garden is a real gem on a sunny day. The atmosphere is always lively, which is nice. Just a heads up, it can get quite crowded, so maybe aim for an off-peak time if you prefer a quieter spot.

Booked for a quiet Sunday dinner. The roast beef was well-done but still surprisingly tender, with a generous portion of veg. The rich gravy was perfect for a robust red wine. Solid value for the price.

That lemongrass pork chop was spot on. The flavour was really something, and for just an extra £2 to get a drink on a sweltering day? Can't argue with that.

Stopped by in Woolton. Pasta was fantastic, really solid. The manager was on it, staff were kind. Even saw the gelato room next door. Good spot.

The private function room was perfect for our family Christmas meal. Staff were really welcoming.

Loved the croquettes here! They've got a Welsh twist that made them a fun little surprise. The rest of the tapas were solid, but those were the standout for me.

The Chana Saag here is a real find. It’s got this lovely depth of flavour and the spinach is so fresh. Honestly, I’d come back just for that. Nice to see a good veggie selection too.

The moussaka portion was huge, easily enough for two. Halloumi fries were decent. But the orange cake slice felt a bit small for the price, honestly. Still, left pretty full.

Busy street location makes it easy to get to. Had a weekday dinner, the place was lively but not too loud. Good spot for a straightforward business meal.

Been coming here for years. Their red donner is still made fresh, which is why I keep coming back.

Nice spot for a quiet chat. The old building has a cool vibe with some modern bits inside. Food was decent, but the main thing was just having a relaxed meal without any rush.

My Japanese mother is quite fussy, but she approved. The ingredients tasted really fresh, which is lovely.

Been here for all three meals now. The menu's huge, but the standout for me was the breakfast pancakes – fluffy and not too sweet. Never had a bad dish.

The breakfast sandwich in the croissant puck was a real find. Egg, hash brown, that special mayo... gone before I could even think of a photo.

The owners are genuinely lovely people, really attentive. They recommended a fantastic local red to go with my steak, which was spot on. The whole evening just felt relaxed because of them. A proper neighbourhood spot.

We went on here at Christmas absolutely brilliant we will be there again this Christmas brilliant atmosphere 😀

Been coming here for years for the Sunday roast. The beef is always cooked just right, not dry at all. Comes with all the usual bits - Yorkshire pudding, roasties, the lot. Good portion for the price. It's my regular spot.

Loved the salt and pepper fries here. The seasoning was spot on and they tasted really fresh.

The staff really knew their beers and were happy to suggest a few. I appreciated that they took the time to explain the ingredients in each one, which helped me pick something that fit my preferences. Very helpful.

A quiet spot for a pint, and they welcome dogs outside. The outdoor seating is comfortable, even for a longer visit. It’s just a nice, relaxed place when the sun's shining.
