I would recommend this lovely restaurant. We booked it in advance of arriving in Lucca and it lived up to our expectations. We were met by a very friendly host who showed us to our table outside the restaurant with lovely views of the piazza. We were given a glass of Prosecco on the house as a welcome drink.The food was local and very tasty. I had the Tomahawk pork steak and my partner had the beef fillet. Both highly recommended dishes.The house wine was of a high standard.We will definitely visit Old Charlie when we return to Lucca.

I had a wonderful experience dining here for the first time. The food quality was top-notch, and the service was impeccable in a well-kept environment. Definitely a place to try for a romantic dinner.

Ordered fish without truffle and porcini mushrooms and the cacio e Pepe without sea urchin (all strange ingredients to go with the dish anyways) and was charged full price once the bill arrived. Owners wouldn&rsquo;t allow waitress (who was great) to make any changes so we felt pretty robbed tonight. Common guys&hellip;

It is located in a perfect square in the center of Pistoia. Staff was really nice and polite. Food was delicious. I highly recommend, for sure I would visit it again
