TheForkUserValentines, on a quite privat room, quiet but still well attended. The Supreme Menu was delightful and for a first timers it was a pleasant experience
TheForkUserWe saw great reviews on Trip Advisor and they were on point! We arrived early & asked if it was okay to take an empty table outside (although their inside seating is very well done). The staff were so helpful as there’s much on the menu we aren’t accustomed to eating, but we’re foodies and love trying new things. Highly recommend the Duck Croquets and the Pig Knuckles (amazingly good….think a bone with ham on it). The staff we so friendly and helpful. We thought we were ordering appetizers (fried artichokes is a meal), so as we continued ordering for 4 people, Andre goes “that’s going to be a lot of food”. So we took a meal off our plate and he was correct…we had plenty of food & room for the chocolate cake & ice cream! Go! You won’t be disappointed & you can people watch outside!
TheForkUserWe enjoyed La Gamella. Had a bottle of Cava to start so we were off to the races. We had French onion soup and a baked cheese dish with tomato marmalade. The soup was great but the cheese dish was exceptional. We then split the ribeye steak which was fabulous. The meat was so good I felt like I was in Argentina.
TheForkUserWe ordered spicy dishes and they do not disappoint. We recommend you to order curries chicken with bones rather than in cubes or boneless. You will appreciate better the authenticity and the best from the dishes.
TheForkUserExcelent restaurant for quality Spanish food at very reasonable prices. Very friendly service and a great selection of wines. Highñy recommended
_TI***biThe tortillas here are absolutely delicious, especially the classic version which is perfectly runny. A must-try for anyone visiting Madrid!
TheForkUserThis place was great! Lovely setting, lovely terrace and lovely service. I’m vegan and was really grateful to see they had great vegan options and all round it was an excellent experience!
TheForkUserThe ambient was amazing, the service also, the were very kind and fast to deliver the order. We had arepas às entrance that was a big portion with Nice flavor, lots of fillings. The main menu we had meat and a kind of fake lasagna, both very good but the portion size could be larger, as the entrance was big it was not a problema but could have been.
TheForkUserWe love the dishes. Authentic cozy place with great service. Super super super, worth going
TheForkUserGood reviews. If you want a romantic Italian candle on the table experience, Balboa is not for you. But if you want committed people offering a high standard of cuisine, and quality produce, then it's spot on. Delicious food and a great flight of canned wines.
TheForkUserThe waiter was very friendly, attentive and welcoming. I found the ambiance a little too noisy, like most restaurants, but this is a minor personal preference. I very much enjoyed dining here. The menu is online, accessible on my mobile phone, a feature I love. The waiter was superb, a credit to the restaurant.
TheForkUserNice food and service. Staff was super-friendly. Very interesting price with The Fork. The restaurant is not too big and it can get a little noisy when full, but other than than the place is great. Recommended.
TheForkUserThe waitress was so so lovely, and the food was lovely too. I would recommend any of the steaks cooked medium rare to medium well. Please help them out by speaking in Spanish!
TheForkUserGreat value for money with Fork discount. Good for take away or causal dine in. Many fresh and healthy options to choose from.
_TI***2qAaron provided exceptional service during our dinner, making the experience memorable. The T-bone steak and grilled squid were particularly delicious!
_TI***41This tapas bar is a must-visit in Madrid! The food is delicious, especially the oxtail cannelloni, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
TheForkUserWe were in Madrid for a very short while & booked this place in advance. Really great restaurant, excellent customer service & the food is AMAZING. Thank you.
_TI***pfLa Sanabresa is a must-visit when in Madrid! The quality of the traditional cuisine is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.
TheForkUserGreat location, great food, great service. We noticed only later that we where given 20% discount instead of the announced 30%.
TheForkUserFantastic food and the local Chuleton was amazing. Besides the service was great, the cook was happy to take a picture at the special oven, which is great.
TheForkUserAfter living in the the US, UK, Netherlands and Czechia in the last few years, I can confidently say that it is one of the best (if not the best) restaurants that you can enjoy Indian cuisine.
TheForkUserThis has been an absolutely wonderful experience! The staff is amazingly friendly and polite, they are well dressed and helpful. Everything on the menu was exquisite, tasteful and very qualitative for a fair price. This has been one of our best dining experience in Madrid and we would definitely eat here again on our next trip! Douze points!
TheForkUserThe decorations are really cool. The food was decent though overpriced for what we got
TheForkUserDish preparation was really good and unique composition. Nice environment and quiet. Is not a common Mexican , bc they take care about details in dish look. Awesome mix of flavors and ingredients. If I could say something bad about this restaurant is the musical line . There are more instruments than trumpets. See you soon
TheForkUserWe have been going to this restaurant for 20 years now and it never disappoints. There’s no luxury and nonsense but I don’t think they’ve ever used any bagged vegetables and the food is always fresh and really tasty. These are the things that should matter, in my opinion.
