No. 7 of Fine Dining  in Kyoto

Came here for the ramen. The bowl was huge, definitely enough for two. For the price, it&#39;s a steal. The broth was rich and the chashu was tender. I&#39;ll be back when I&#39;m really hungry.

Margherita is my go-to for a quick lunch. The sourdough crust is spot on, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio is just right. Got it to go and it was ready in under 5 minutes. Perfect for a fast bite.

The Heshiko set was a fun find! They grill it over charcoal so the skin gets super crispy. Loved finishing it as ochazuke with the dashi they give you. Simple but really satisfying.

This place has a really cool vibe. Modern and chic, but still feels cozy. The drinks menu is huge, which is nice. Gets pretty packed though, so booking ahead is a good idea.

The coffee here is good. It&#39;s a medium roast, not too bitter. Has a nice smooth finish. I just focus on the drink itself, not the space. It&#39;s a solid cup for the price.

Nawaya offers a fantastic value for the quality of food served. The course meal, which highlights local ingredients, is a culinary journey worth every yen.

Staff was super friendly. I asked for a vegetarian option during my quick lunch break, and they sorted it out fast. Made me feel welcome without slowing things down. Good for a quick bite.

The squid rice bowl is really nice. The squid is so fresh and tender, with a natural sweetness. I liked the mix of raw and boiled parts, it gave a nice variety in texture. The staff was friendly and the place felt comfortable for a relaxed meal.

Just grabbed a coffee and a croissant here. It&#39;s self-service, you order at the counter and find your own spot. Nice and simple. Don&#39;t forget to clear your tray when you leave.

Grilling your own seafood on the little grill is a fun idea. Prices were okay for the beach location.

The fig tempura from my last visit was so good. I like how the menu changes with the seasons, it keeps things interesting. The space itself is really calming, with lots of wood and soft lighting.

The road up here is pretty narrow, had to take it slow. Parking is tight, maybe fits six or seven cars at most. Not the easiest spot to find.

Been coming here for years. The seafood donburi is still the move. Always packed with thick cuts of tuna and yellowtail. The octopus is the star though, that texture is just right. Never disappoints.

The salted ice cream is nice. The staff kindly gave me a little extra while I waited for a fresh batch.

The crab hotpot set was a nice surprise! Really generous portion of crab, the meat was so sweet. Loved the kelp broth with mochi in it, super cozy on a chilly evening.
