Supposedly one of the trendiest places to be for brunch in Melbourne. The place is a sim with a chic decor with a refurbished power station as a backdrop. The food is not bad but it is slightly below expectations for me, given the raving reviews that everyone has been giving this place. The dark rye and chives waffle was the better dish among what we ordered. Chilli scrambled eggs had also a good kick to it with the spicy twist. Blueberry and ricotta hotcakes were not fluffy and soft enough but the taste of the toppings were good. Coffee was average for me. Try to go early or make reservations as the place filled up quickly given its popularity for a brunch spot for tourists or business people alike even for a weekday.

This place is a hidden gem. Simple, though staff and food are just lovely. Coffee wasn&#39;t too bad either. Park anywhere on Railway Ave for short walk to the Cafe.We both had eggs on toast, one with mushrooms, one with Bacon &amp; avo. Eggs pretty much perfect.

The Chilli Prawn pasta is absolutely delicious! The balance between the sauce and pasta is just perfect, and the coffee here is the best in Melbourne.

Lovely staff and fantastic service. The booking was easy and they were accommodating even we came 40 mins earlier than the booking ！ the seating arrangement was a little light but the vibe was good. Coffee was good, just the dishes were on a smaller portions. Would definitely come back again!

What a beautiful hidden gem! Wish we would have known about it sooner! Delicious eggs Benedict and coffee that hits the spot, not to mention very reasonably priced. Service was faultless and it was so lovely to have a pleasant chat with the friendly staff. The ambience is just devine. We will definitely be back!

I&#39;d been wanting to go to Pope Joan for a while, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, and I was treated to something special for my birthday which was totally unexpected, and so thoughtful of the staff. Had a fantastic time!
