Open 24 hours, which honestly saved me the other night when nothing else was open. Got the hot chocolate with the chocolate stick—nice touch, melts right in. Also tried the Moroccan tea, proper good. Place was quiet enough to sit and chill for a bit. Will be back if I'm stuck late again.

Been coming here for years. Food's still solid, portions are decent. The specials rotate often enough that it doesn't get boring. Service has slowed down a bit lately—waited longer than usual for the bill last visit. Not a dealbreaker though. Still one of the more reliable spots in the area for a straightforward meal.

Went in on a Friday night, they've started doing food weekends now. Got the brownie, fair play it was deadly. Portion sizes are decent for what you pay. Place was busy enough but we got sorted. Wouldn't mind going back to try the rest of the menu.

Food was fresh and tasty, loads of options to pick from. We ordered a big group thing and it came out quick, no messing around. Staff were sound too. 👌

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night, place wasn't too packed. Got the lasagne and a glass of red. Pasta was proper, not the usual sloppy stuff you get around town. Chef actually walked out with the plates himself, which I thought was a nice touch. Prices are fair for the portion. Only gripe, service was a bit slow between courses. Still, it's a solid spot if you're in Cork.

Came here on a tip from a mate who lives nearby. Seafood chowder was proper creamy, plenty of fish in it. Steak came out cooked exactly as I asked. Staff were grand, even with the place packed for lunch. Menu's big enough you'll find something. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Stopped in here for a coffee and an almond croissant after walking past the cathedral. Croissant was proper good, flaky and buttery. Coffee did the job. Place was busy enough but I found a seat by the window. Nice spot to just sit and watch people for a while. Not bad at all.

The wild mushroom and poached eggs were the standout. That sauce soaked into the toast just right. Got there right at opening, place was already half full. They don't take bookings so you're rolling the dice if you show up late. Portion was decent for the price too. Would eat that again.

The Reuben was solid—good quality meat and a fair portion for the price. Would've loved a side salad to round it out, but it hit the spot.

Nice flat white and the scone was decent. Music gave the place a bit of life without being too loud. Staff had a good chatty vibe. Solid shout if you're sick of the chain spots.

The almond croissant is genuinely the best I've had in ages. Flaky, not too sweet, the filling actually tastes like real almonds. Coffee's decent too. It's a bit steep for what it is, but fine for a treat. Mostly a takeaway spot, only a couple of stools inside. I'd grab one if you're passing.

Stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday. Service was quick and the waiter didn't hover, which I appreciate. They brought out a candle with the dessert for my partner's birthday without us asking. Small gesture, but it landed well. Food was solid, nothing groundbreaking, but the place runs efficiently. Fine for a casual weeknight meal if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a late lunch with a few colleagues. Place was busy but we got seated straight away. Food came out quick, which I appreciated. Had the burger, decent portion for the price. Service was friendly enough, no complaints. Solid spot if you're in the area and need something reliable.

Food's solid and the tortilla is spot on. Croquettes were good too. Portions are a bit small for the price though. Fine for a quick bite.

Stopped in for a pint and ended up staying longer than planned. The barman knew his stuff, poured a proper Guinness and even showed me the bottle when I asked about the wine. €4.50 for a pint is fair for Dublin these days. Place had a nice hum to it, not too packed. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a relaxed drink.

The full Irish breakfast here is a solid shout if you're hungry. Portion size is proper, not one of those tiny plates that leaves you looking for a snack an hour later. Service was quick enough even though the place was packed. They split the bill for our group without any hassle, which is always a bonus. Only thing is it's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Loved building my own bowl – went heavy on the spice level and it didn't disappoint. The house hot sauces on the side were a nice touch.

Stopped in here on the way through Dungarvan and honestly the homemade food was the highlight. Got the stew and it had that proper slow-cooked taste, not rushed at all. Staff were lovely too, took the time to chat and point us in the right direction for a walk after. Only small thing, it got a bit busy around 1pm so we waited a few minutes for a table. Fair enough for the quality though.

Stopped in for coffee and a slice of cake—the place has a proper artsy vibe, walls covered in art that’s actually for sale. Coffee was rich, not bitter. Cake was decent, though a bit small for the price. Nice spot to kill an hour with a book from their shelf.

Bright spot with loads of seating, no hassle getting a table. Portion sizes were decent for the price, left full without feeling ripped off. Would pop back in if I'm in the area again.

Food was spot on — the lamb melted off the bone. Service got a bit lost near the end though, took ages to flag someone for the bill. Nice vibe inside, just needed a bit more attention.

The porridge with the sweet chopped apples was proper comfort food. Soft, warm, and not overly sugary. Portion was decent for the price, which I always appreciate. Place itself was nice enough to sit in for a while. Simple breakfast done right, no complaints from me. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.
