The trad music and general buzz in here made it feel like a proper Irish pub. Guinness was poured well and the spice bag had a decent kick. Seats near the window were a bit tight though.

Popped in for a glass of wine and ended up staying for a bite. The food was decent, but the prices felt a bit steep for the portion sizes. Nice spot though, if you're not starving.

Lovely spot for catching up with friends over a few drinks. The interior is really nice, warm lighting and all that. Service was spot on too, never had to wait long to order. Only thing is it got a bit loud later in the evening, but that's kind of expected. Would definitely come back with the girls 👍

Stopped in for the steak sandwich with chips and peppercorn sauce. It was gorgeous, exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly enough, no complaints there. Place had a decent buzz about it, not too loud. Solid spot if you're after a casual bite, I'd say. Might be back again sometime.

Early bird menu is decent value, food came out quick enough. Staff left us alone which I appreciate. Place had a nice buzz even on a quiet evening.

Been coming here for a while now, and the Beamish is always spot on. Never had a bad pint, which is saying something. Food's decent too, the comfort stuff hits the spot when you need it. Caught a rugby match here last week, good craic. Place gets busy but it's part of the charm. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a proper pint without any fuss.

Solid whiskey selection here. Tried a peated Islay I'd never heard of and the bartender knew exactly how to talk about it. Outdoor seating was a bonus, though the street noise got a bit much.

Full Irish breakfast came out hot and quick, on proper warm toast. That's exactly what you want on a cold morning. Staff were sound, no fuss. Place is small but has a decent buzz to it. I'd say it's a solid spot if you're in the area and need something filling without the wait.

Tried their own stout for the first time - really solid. The covered beer garden is a nice touch, especially when it's drizzling. Staff let me sample a few before picking, which was handy.

Came here with a few friends after work and honestly the rooftop area is the main draw. We grabbed some drinks and just hung out while people bowled below. Got a bit loud later in the evening but that's kind of the vibe. The arcade games are a nice touch too. Would go back if someone else picks the spot.

Stopped in for a sandwich and a pint. The bread was fresh, filling was decent sized. Staff were sound, didn't rush me at all. It's a solid spot for a quick bite if you're in the area. Mine was a bit messy to eat, but that's on me for picking something saucy. Pretty good overall.

Big spot, proper old-school pub vibe. Food portions are hefty for what you pay. Guinness tasted a bit thin though, not as good as other places around town. Still, decent enough for a feed.

Been coming here for years. Food's still solid, portions are decent. The specials rotate often enough that it doesn't get boring. Service has slowed down a bit lately—waited longer than usual for the bill last visit. Not a dealbreaker though. Still one of the more reliable spots in the area for a straightforward meal.

Food was spot on — the lamb melted off the bone. Service got a bit lost near the end though, took ages to flag someone for the bill. Nice vibe inside, just needed a bit more attention.

Decent spot for live music at night. Fish and chips with my dad was pretty good, service was quick.

Came for breakfast, mini breakfast was spot on. Service quick, no messing about. Could sit there after without being rushed, which was nice. Solid enough start to the day.

We popped in for dinner without a booking and got a nice table near the window. The waitress was so patient explaining what was gluten-free, which I really appreciated. Food was tasty, nothing too fancy but well done. Only tiny thing was we waited a bit for the bill, but no rush on our end. Would happily go back.

The view over Cork at night is stunning, and the waiter really looked after us. Pricey, but worth it for a treat.

Stopped in for a pint on a quiet Tuesday and the bartender was dead sound. Didn't rush me at all, even when I was just staring at the wall. Prices are fair for Dublin too. The live music later was a nice touch, not too loud. Probably the most relaxed I've been in a pub all month.

Popped in for a quick pint and stayed for the whole set 🍺 The Guinness was spot on and the band proper talented. Great spot for a catch-up with friends.

The live music was the highlight for sure. Sound system sounded great, and the bands they book are solid. Stayed longer than I planned for another beer.

Stumbled in here on a Friday and there was a live band playing—proper mix of trad and blues. Honestly the music alone made it worth staying for a few pints. Drink list is decent too. Place was buzzing, maybe a bit loud near the back but that’s on me for picking a spot close to the speakers. Good night out.

Tried the pizza and a toasted sandwich—both were decent, though the pizza could've had more topping for the price. Cozy spot, but I'd only come back for the sandwiches.
