First time trying Jiro-style ramen. The standard bowl had a sweet pork bone broth, crisp onions were a nice touch. Those extra-thick noodles are the real star though, great texture.

The hand-cut noodles here are the main draw. They have a great chew, you can tell they're made fresh. The seasonal veg tempura was light and crispy, we actually got another order.

The gamjatang here is the real deal, packed with perilla leaves. Good to have an authentic spot in the neighborhood.

The sashimi platter was the main thing. Super fresh, no fishy smell at all. The texture of the tuna and salmon was spot on. That's what I came for. The grilled fish set was decent, but the sashimi was the real highlight.

The cheesecake with cherry compote was a fun twist on a classic. Perfect for sharing with friends after a meal!

The oden broth here is so clear and full of flavor. The ingredients feel very fresh and local. I found the seating to be quite comfortable, which made the whole meal very relaxing. The price seemed fair for what you get.

The nabe curry udon was spot on. That thick Kanazawa-style curry had real depth. The udon was perfectly chewy. I added cheese and mochi, which worked well. Owner was friendly. My only note is the wine list is quite short, but the beer went fine with the rich curry.

Cozy little family-run place. The udon and Hamburg were tasty, homemade style. I liked the wooden tables and the quiet vibe, it felt really relaxed. Just a nice spot for a simple meal.

The Kanazawa-style oden is good, especially the seasonal hairy crab. The crab noodles were a nice touch.

The Manly Skirt Steak was a solid lunch. Big portion, good flavor for what you pay.
