Chef came over to explain each dish, even suggested which seasoning to use. Really friendly guy, made us feel welcome. That kind of personal touch is nice.

Combo with the large fried shrimp was my pick. The shrimp were honestly huge, and the tartar sauce on the side was a nice touch. Just a solid, satisfying choice.

Grabbed some oden to-go in their container. The daikon was so tender, and the broth felt light and clean. A nice, warm snack while wandering the market. The fish cake was a bit too soft for my taste, but everything tasted really fresh.

A real hidden gem tucked away in the garden. The building blends into the pond scenery so perfectly you might miss it!

The lunch buffet here is of high quality! The variety of dishes is impressive, and everything is thoughtfully prepared. The desserts, especially the cakes, are beautifully presented and delicious.

The tonkatsu was spot on. Super crispy outside, still juicy inside. The set came with rice, miso, and unlimited cabbage salad, which was a nice touch. Felt like a solid deal for what you get.

They take credit cards, which is handy. The lunch set had a few options, and the miso soup was refillable. Pretty solid for a quick meal.

I had the salt tonkotsu ramen. The broth was really flavorful. The soft-boiled egg was just right. The seats at the counter were comfortable, which made the whole meal very relaxing.

The char siu rice was really good. I ended up mixing the last bit of my soup with the leftover rice, like a simple ochazuke. It was a nice, comforting way to end things.

This restaurant is perfect for special occasions. The private rooms are spacious and well-decorated, providing a comfortable setting for family gatherings.

The vegetarian set was a pleasant surprise. The tofu had a delicate texture, and the seasonal vegetables were cooked just right. I paired it with a light, crisp white wine that really complemented the flavors. Would suggest pre-ordering to ensure they have it ready for you.

The all-you-can-drink option is a good deal. I appreciated that they had a decent selection of non-alcoholic options too, like fresh juices and sparkling water. It made it easier to pace myself and stay hydrated during the meal.

No. 1 of Local Restaurants in Kanazawa

A bit pricey, but the sashimi portions are generous and the fish is incredibly fresh. The comfortable booth seating made it a relaxing meal.

Staff was helpful with my nut allergy. They checked the kitchen and confirmed the curry sauce is nut-free. That put me at ease. The curry itself was good, not too spicy. A solid choice for a worry-free meal.

Been coming here for years. Their soba is consistently good, and that's why I keep coming back.

Super convenient spot to meet up, right by the station. Just a heads up, the closest parking lot gets full fast!

Tried their wagashi-making workshop. A nice hands-on experience, and you get tea and a souvenir to take home. Pretty good for something a bit different. The space was a little cramped, but it was fine.

The fish in the sashimi platter was so fresh, it practically melted. You can tell they really care about quality. The staff were all wearing masks too, which was a nice touch.

Weekday lunch course was a solid deal. The seafood ragout pasta really stood out, fresh and flavorful. Just the right amount for a midday meal.

The pale blue exterior caught my eye first. Inside, the stained glass in the old-style building was lovely, especially with the afternoon light. They even had these delicate, patterned cups for the coffee. A really nice detail.

The domestic sirloin was decent. A nice, relaxed meal, but service felt a little slow.

The duck udon was really good. I liked how the broth tasted clean and not too heavy. The duck slices were tender and lean, which was nice. A solid choice if you're looking for something warm and comforting.
