Found it near Omicho Market. Packed with locals. Used a translation app for the Japanese menu. Got the grilled yellowtail collar. Simple, fresh, really good.

The chef and his partner were so welcoming. They took the time to explain each dish in English for us, which was really thoughtful. It made the whole meal feel very personal and comfortable.

Ordering was a breeze with the tablet system. English menus and clear pictures made it simple. No language barrier to worry about.

Came in with a big group right before closing. Staff was super chill about it. Got our orders in quick, no rush. Splitting the bill individually was a huge plus. Solid for a late, easy meal.

The cod roe pot was pretty good. Seasonal menu is solid. It's a bit pricey for the area, but the food is fine.

Been coming here for ages with my friends. The vibe is so chill, perfect for catching up. The food is just solid and comforting, exactly what you want after a long week. It's that kind of reliable spot.

Been coming here for years. Their Komatsu udon is the real deal - noodles are smooth and chewy, broth is flavorful but not heavy. The stewed beef topping on the meat udon is really good. Solid choice for a reliable meal.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even with my limited Japanese. English menu made it easy.

Conveniently located near Toyama Station. Came for a late lunch and got a table easily. The salad greens were incredibly fresh and crisp, you could really taste the quality. A simple dish, but the freshness of the ingredients made it stand out.

This cafe is in a lovely old Japanese house. The tatami room overlooking the courtyard is so peaceful. I had a simple matcha and a dorayaki there—it was just right for a quiet afternoon. The wooden tables are unique. A nice spot to slow down.

The Hida beef steak. That's the one. It just melts, no effort at all. Some of the best beef I've had.

The premium nigiri set was so good! The rice seasoning really made the fish shine. Perfect for a casual dinner with friends.

Stumbled in near the station when my usual spots were packed. The skewers were solid, especially with a cold beer. The fried lotus root was a nice touch. A bit cramped, but it hit the spot after a long day.

The owner cooks each dish to order right in front of you. The tonkatsu was perfectly crispy, not greasy at all. The miso soup had a deep, savory flavor. That personal touch makes a difference.

The paella portion was huge, I couldn't finish it all. Took the rest home. The rice had a nice crust at the bottom, and the seafood was cooked just right.

Loved the cozy vibe here! Came with friends and the oden broth was so mild and comforting. The owner was super friendly too, which made our little catch-up feel even nicer. Perfect spot for a relaxed chat.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. The fruit platter was generous and delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

The Jibu-ni duck stew was the highlight for me. Deep, comforting flavor, served on a beautiful Kutani ware plate. You can tell they care about the details. Service was thoughtful without being overbearing. A really nice spot for a quiet meal.

The sake selection was nice, and the casual atmosphere made it easy to relax.

Shogyotei is a gem in Kanazawa, offering a fantastic Kaiseki experience. Each course was unique and flavorful, making it a memorable dining occasion. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine.

Been coming here for years since it's so close to the station. The marinated beef is always tender and tasty. Prices are fair, though the place gets packed early.

The Bib Gourmand recognition is well-deserved. Their wine list had some interesting local pairings that complemented the food nicely.

The fried pig's brain and onion had a texture I wasn't expecting, almost like creamy cod roe. The aroma was really pleasant. Honestly, it was surprisingly good!

The pancakes were so light and airy. I liked that they weren't too sweet. The server suggested a light, sparkling white wine with them, and it was a surprisingly good pairing. Made for a relaxed Sunday morning.

The staff were really nice. They cleared our plates quickly and even helped translate the menu for us. Made ordering a lot easier.
