I love the retro Showa vibe here, feels like stepping back in time. Came for the gyoza and a local beer after work. They were so crispy and juicy, perfect with a cold one. 😋 There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it for that classic taste.

The steak with onion sauce was really good. I liked how the sauce worked with the meat. Portion was okay, but maybe go larger if you're hungry.

The tempura ice cream was a nice finish. The contrast between the warm, crispy shell and the cold ice cream was fun.

The tempura here is always so light and crispy. I like that the ingredients change daily, it's a nice surprise. The seats are quite comfortable too, which makes for a relaxed meal.

The handmade noodles were fantastic, and they paired nicely with the house red. Portions are big, so you get what you pay for.

Prices are very reasonable here. Many items are around 200 yen, which is a nice surprise. The quality is solid for that price point, especially compared to what you'd pay in a bigger city.

The fruit parfait is the main event here. Layers of fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola are stacked just right. It’s a proper dessert, not an afterthought. The textures work well together.

The A5 Yonezawa sirloin was so tender, it just melted. A truly refined piece of meat. The service was very attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience feel quite relaxed. A very comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

The soba was so smooth, and the broth had this sharp, clean taste I really liked. The owners were very courteous, which made the simple lunch feel quite nice.
