Came back here again last week, still my go-to spot for a quick bite. Staff remembered me and split our pizza onto two plates before I even asked—that’s the kind of small thing that keeps me coming back. Place was quiet around 5pm, easy to talk. Not fancy, but consistent. That’s what matters after a few visits.

Decent spot for Hungarian comfort food. I had the babgulyás and it was rich, plenty of meat and beans in there. Portion was big enough that I couldn't finish it. The room feels a bit dated but that's part of the charm, I guess. Pretty good if you're after something hearty.

Stopped by for lunch on a workday. The goulash was solid, rich flavor, came out fast. Old-style interior is a nice touch, feels authentic. Service was polite but a bit rushed, not a big deal. Prices fair for the portion. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something quick without the tourist fuss.

The staff set up a high chair and even brought little cutlery for our baby without us asking. Really nice touch. Food was solid too.

Stopped here for lunch and grabbed a table outside. The view over the lake is really something. Had the goulash and it was solid, proper paprika kick. Waitress knew the menu well and switched to English without skipping a beat. Only thing, took a bit to get the bill. Still, decent spot.

The beef soup here is genuinely the best I’ve had in a long time. They even made a gluten-free version for our friend without fuss. Portions are big, so come hungry. Just a heads-up, it’s about a 15-minute walk from the Basilica.

The pizza here is huge—one pie honestly could last me two meals. Price felt fair for what you get, especially if you show up starving. I grabbed a margherita and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but the portion-to-price ratio is hard to beat around here.

Been here a few times now. That smoked tomato soup is still the thing I keep thinking about. Gábor was on shift again and honestly he just makes the whole place feel easy. Not a fancy spot, but you don't need that. Just good food and someone who remembers you.

The place looks fancier than the price suggests, that’s for sure. Clean, modern, nice vibe. Menu’s pretty small though, and if you’re veggie you basically get one choice. I had the mushroom dish, it was decent but nothing mind-blowing. Portion felt a bit small for what they charge. Staff were friendly enough, but I left still a little hungry. Fine for a one-off, not somewhere I’d rush back to.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed the chocolate banana and raffaello ice creams. Both were solid, especially the raffaello. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Place had a good dessert selection too. Maybe a bit busy around lunch but I got my order fast enough. Fine spot if you just want something sweet and quick.

Stopped by for a quick bite, ended up staying way longer than planned. The lakeside view is nice, but honestly the sommelier knew their stuff — talked me into a glass I wouldn't have picked myself. Dessert case looked better than it tasted, but still decent. Prices are a bit on the higher side for the portion size. Fine for a lazy afternoon though.

Stopped here after hiking Sitno. Had the bryndzové halušky, decent portion for the price. Place was quiet when I came in, which was nice. Nothing fancy but solid if you're hungry and nearby. Service was fine, no complaints.

Big portions, cheap. Had the fried stuff, kinda dry tbh. But for the price, can't complain. Place was packed with families. Solid if you just want a lot of food without spending much. Not fancy, but does the job.

Fast service and big portions for the price. Staff were super kind even though we couldn't really communicate. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 👍

Solid lunch deal, loved the pork paprikás. Staff were nice, though you could hear them chatting in the back.

Solid burger spot. Service was quick and friendly. Interior's a bit dated, but that didn't bother me. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Loved the vintage vibe here. The cakes really are something — tried the sugar-free one and honestly couldn't tell the difference. Garden seating is lovely, feels tucked away from the street noise. Just wish they had a bit more savoury options, but for coffee and dessert it's a solid stop.

Service was quick and the staff did their job. Food was decent, nothing crazy but fine for a quick bite. Menu's got enough options. The tables felt a bit close together though, kinda hard to have a private convo.

Stopped by for the tasting plate and honestly the owner knows his chocolate. Walked me through each piece without making it feel like a lecture. Nice little spot in Tata, worth remembering if you're nearby.

TheWe had dinner at the hotel restaurant after spending time in the wellness area. The view over the Danube is really something, especially at sunset. I ordered the duck breast and it was cooked nicely, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. The bathtub in the room was a nice touch too, but honestly the food was the highlight for me. Just wish they'd give a bit more on the plate.
