Service

Good spot for a business lunch. The music volume is just right, not too loud for conversation. The overall vibe is relaxed, which works well for a midweek meeting.

Great spot for a pint. Their ales are kept properly, which is key. Wine list won't break the bank either. Lively but not too loud, just right for a casual catch-up.

Been coming here for years. Portions are still big, prices fair. Left stuffed without spending much. That's what keeps me coming back.

Service was spot on. Friendly, knew the menu well, and just the right amount of attentive. They explained the dishes without hovering, which was nice.

The coffee's always spot on, and the staff are lovely. What really works for me is their playlist – it's the perfect chill vibe for a slow afternoon with a flat white. Just wish the chairs were a bit comfier for longer stays.

Came here after reading the reviews. The place was consistently busy, which is always a good sign. Staff were really attentive without being overbearing, made the whole thing feel relaxed.

The pizza was good, but I really appreciated the fresh, crisp salad that came with it. A nice touch for a healthier option.

A bit of a trek from the centre, but the wine list is a proper discovery. Found a lovely local red to go with the steak.

They were really good about the gluten-free request. The burger bun was swapped out no problem, and it arrived hot. As someone who has to ask for adjustments often, that attention to detail makes a difference.

The gluten-free bread here is honestly next level. So fluffy and warm, it's hard to believe it's free from. Really appreciate the thought put into the coeliac options.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, decent portion. Service was quick, no fuss. Parking round the back is a plus.

Been coming here for years. The menu’s always got something interesting. Last time, my son knocked his plate over just after the kitchen shut. They still made him a fresh one without a fuss. That’s the kind of place it is.

Cosy little pub, exactly the kind of spot you want for a chilled catch-up. The vibe is so warm and welcoming, just right for a long chat over a pint. My friends and I ended up staying way longer than planned!

Full English breakfast. Portions are huge, price is fair. They handled my allergy no problem. Solid spot for a big feed.

The menu's full of dishes I've never seen anywhere else. It's fun to try something new. Portions are generous for the price, which I appreciate. The grilled octopus starter was a standout.

Lovely staff, super friendly and helpful when I called to place a takeaway order. Made the whole process easy for our little group catch-up. The spot is also really convenient to get to with decent parking, which is a plus when you're meeting friends.

Anthony and Tilly were brilliant. So kind and patient with our big group, even when we were a bit chaotic. Really made a difference.

If you're into spooky stuff, the ghost stories here are wild. A fun spot to bring friends who like a bit of a thrill. The atmosphere is definitely the main event.

The portions are huge for the price, which is nice. But what really got me was the warmth of the place. It just felt cosy and welcoming the moment we stepped in.

The classic Indian dishes are super tasty, and the menu offers a good variety. Service is very good.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The chicken with gnocchi was really nicely seasoned, not bland at all. Service was smooth, no fuss. Solid spot.

Service was very good, staff were very friendly and attentive - but not at all intrusive. Good selection on menu. Food was a generous portion and very tasty.

Good gluten-free options. The ribs with mash and gravy were tasty and a decent portion for the price.

The wood-fired oven gives the pizza crust a really nice crisp. Thin base, not soggy at all. Toppings are fresh, simple stuff done well. That's what I come for.

Stumbled in here and ended up staying for ages. The lighting was just right, not too bright, and the wooden booths were actually comfy. A nice spot to unwind.

FANTASTIC FOOD! Service, friend, professional staff. Been there various times & that’s why we keep going back. Keep up the excellent work Chilli Banana! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
