A decent campsite with nice views of the countryside. It's well-located for walks into Matlock and Matlock Bath, which was pretty good. The pitches were fine, though a bit close together.

Had a couple of meals here. The food was tasty and decent value. But the best part was how welcome they made our dog feel. A real plus.

The full English was spot on - quality ingredients and not greasy. What really made it was the house bloody mary they suggested. A bit of a wait for a table, but the drink pairing was thoughtful. Solid, hearty feed.

A very clean and organised place, which I always appreciate. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and the whole meal felt smooth from start to finish. Just a really comfortable spot for a quiet lunch.

Been here a few times. Staff are nice, they remember you. Brought water for our dog without asking, which is handy. Makes it easy to pop in.

Been a regular here for years. The menu's got all the classics, and the quality never slips. Had a lovely Pinot Noir with the Massaman curry last night – a surprisingly good match. The place was buzzing, but service was a tad slow.

The lamb and new potato pie was the star. Proper homemade pastry, rich filling. A solid 20-minute walk from our hotel, but no regrets.

Popped in with a few mates for a first try. The pizza was spot on, really good. The vibe was perfect for a casual catch-up - not too loud so we could actually hear each other. Might be back for another round.

Nice, quiet spot for dinner. Service was just right - they were there when you needed them but didn't hover.

Ordered the mixed grill for two. Portions are huge, had leftovers to take home. Meat quality was good, tasted fresh. Good value for the amount you get.

Been here a few times for a lazy brunch. The stonebake pizza is always solid, and it comes out fast. Portion size is decent for the price, which is the main thing for me. Won't break the bank for a casual meal.

The portions are huge for the price. Food quality is solid, especially the lamb curry.

The food felt really authentic. Portions were generous for the price. A solid choice if you're in the mood for Indian.

Carbonara was a bit too oily for me. But that pistachio profiterole... wow. The cream, pastry, and ice cream just worked perfectly together.

This place is a hidden gem for brunch lovers! The food was delicious, and the value for money is outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety offered.

We were running a bit late for my daughter's 21st, but the staff were so chill about it. They didn't rush us at all, and even brought out her birthday cake with a smile. Made the whole evening really relaxed.

Family-friendly spot. Rooms are clean and spacious, plus they provide a free cot and changing mat which was handy. Check-out was quick.

The patatas bravas were spot on. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and the sauce had a real kick to it. The crema catalana was good too, with a proper burnt sugar crust.

The sticky pork ribs are fantastic, and the deep-fried toast is a great snack with drinks.

Love their happy hour! Cocktails are 2 for £10, way cheaper than in town. Grabbed a couple after work with a mate, perfect for a casual catch-up.

The vegan menu is a nice touch. We tried the mushroom risotto and the portion was huge, easily enough for two. Good to see plant-based options that don't feel like an afterthought.

Food's really good, flavours are rich and satisfying. Had to wait a bit longer than expected during the busy dinner rush, but it was fine.

A decent lunch in Leicester. The steaks were pretty good, and Kourtney was very attentive.

Just discovered this spot and it's a game-changer for gluten-free dining. Had the GF pasta, which was actually really good - not the usual dry or crumbly kind. Nice to have proper choices.

The churros are the only thing I come here for. They're crisp on the outside, soft and warm inside, with that perfect cinnamon sugar coating. The chocolate dip is thick and rich, not too sweet. I've tried the French toast, it's fine, but honestly, nothing compares to those churros.

Been coming here for years. Alex always remembers my name, makes it feel like a proper local spot. The pizzas are just as good as they were on my first visit, that’s what keeps me coming back.

A proper family-run place, the owner always remembers what I like. Had the lamb shank again last night, slow-cooked for hours, just fell off the bone. That kind of care is hard to find.
