The service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience truly enjoyable.

The doner and chips from this truck hit the spot. Meat was nicely seasoned and the chips were crispy, not greasy. Van looked tidy too. Solid choice for a quick bite.

Lovely spot in Leicester. The goulash pancake was really tasty, and the staff were very friendly.

The spicy king prawns with pasta were fantastic, but the portion was a bit small for the price. The sea bass was cooked perfectly though. Not the biggest value for a main course, but the flavours were spot on.

The cookie dough dessert was the star for me. It had that perfect, slightly underbaked texture and just the right amount of chocolate chunks. The steak was good, cooked exactly as I asked.

Popped in for a drink, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked too good to resist. Ended up getting the fish finger sandwich and the mac and cheese. The sandwich was spot on, really hit the spot. Mac and cheese was decent, maybe a bit too rich for me.

The bartender really knew his rums. I told him I usually go for something dark, and he suggested a specific one that was spot on. Friendly chat, no pressure. The rest of the team seemed nice too, but he made the visit.

Been here a few times for brunch. The outdoor tables are really nice when the sun's out. Good spot for a relaxed catch-up, or even to bring a laptop. Menu's got enough choice to keep it interesting.

Came with a big group on a whim and they squeezed us in! The staff were so chill about it. Food was spot on – the macha karahi is a must. Perfect for a spontaneous dinner with mates.

As a pescatarian, I was really happy with the veggie options here. The mushroom risotto was spot on - creamy without being heavy. Nice to have a few proper choices for a change.

The paella here is the real deal. I loved the crispy socarrat at the bottom of the pan, and the prawns were spot-on. The space is cosy and gets lively, but the staff handled it all with a smile.

Lovely lunch, the food was spot on. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the pacing between courses felt just right. Menu prices are fair for what you get. A really pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Iqbal's a great host. The background music was just right, and his wine suggestion paired nicely with the evening.

The staff were really helpful with my dietary needs. They double-checked everything with the kitchen, which was reassuring.

Been here a few times. The place is always spotless, which I appreciate. Had the grilled salmon last night, it was cooked just right. Staff are polite and get things done without fuss.

Lovely village pub with a proper old-school feel. The low ceilings and dark wood make it cosy, even on a rainy Tuesday. Had a decent pint and a solid pie. Just the right kind of place to unwind.

The buffet had a really good selection for the price. I was happy to see lots of fresh salad ingredients and grilled vegetables. The seafood options looked a bit tired, but the variety overall was solid.

Decent spot for a drink. The cocktails are pretty good, and there's a decent amount of space even when it's busy. The decor is interesting, though a bit loud for my taste.

The pizza was decent, nothing crazy. But the spread of starters was really good, and they take Tesco vouchers which is a nice touch.

Had a really nice evening. Ryan was super helpful when we got a bit mixed up with the order - sorted it out straight away. Friendly service made a difference.

Service was really nice and friendly, even on a busy night. Felt well looked after without being rushed.

Been coming here for years, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. They remembered it was my daughter's birthday and brought out a little dessert plate on the house. That kind of thoughtful touch keeps us coming back.

Came for a casual lunch. The place is clean and the chairs are comfortable, plenty of space to spread out. For the price, you get a decent amount of food. It's a solid spot if you're not looking to spend too much.

Used a voucher, so the price was right. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and proper chips. Service was friendly, no rush. Just a solid, no-fuss meal.

The curries are so flavourful and packed with meat! Great for sharing with a mate, and the portions are generous for the price.

Had a decent group dinner here with 12 people. The lamb was pretty good, just as we'd hoped. Service was efficient and they handled our large table fine, though it did get a bit loud in our corner.

Grabbed a takeaway from here. The butter chicken was spot on, rich and creamy. Portions are decent for the price. Nice to have a solid Indian option in Bakewell.

The steak and kidney pudding was a proper cosy pub classic. Perfect for a catch-up with mates on a chilly evening.

Stopped by after a travel mix-up, and the staff were so kind helping us sort it out. The pub felt really cozy and clean. Saw some amazing-looking fish and chips go by to another table – wish we'd had time to eat!
