Been coming here since I was a kid with my Nana. The fish and chips taste exactly the same, which is really nice. Got to bring my own family this time.

Came for a special dinner. The staff were genuinely kind, which really made the evening. Every dish we tried was spot on—the lamb was particularly tender. A lovely, relaxed night.

Ordered the sheek kebab for delivery. It arrived piping hot, which was a nice surprise. The packaging was really secure, no spills at all. Felt like a proper treat on a rainy night.

Family platter for three of us. Everything cooked just right, the lamb especially. Nice and filling. Cosy spot out back.

A cosy little cafe, the kind you can just sink into for a while. I had the Bakewell slice with a coffee, and it was really good. Just the right spot to pause and watch the world go by for a bit.

Decided to try their breakfast. The Lincolnshire sausage in the bagel was the standout, really good. Eggs were perfectly runny too. Solid menu.

Been grabbing my morning coffee here for years. Usually it's spot on, but a couple of times my takeaway americano was a bit weak. Still, they're quick and no fuss.

Been coming here for years. That Korean BBQ burger is my go-to, always hits the spot. The price has crept up a bit, but it's still the same great flavour.

Came with a big group, and the service was spot on. Staff were really attentive without hovering. The food was solid, especially the lamb shank—so tender it fell right off the bone. A nice spot for a relaxed dinner.

A decent campsite with nice views of the countryside. It's well-located for walks into Matlock and Matlock Bath, which was pretty good. The pitches were fine, though a bit close together.

Had a couple of meals here. The food was tasty and decent value. But the best part was how welcome they made our dog feel. A real plus.

The food is simple but done right. The roast chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy inside with a crisp skin. Prices are fair for what you get.

Fish and chips were spot on. Crispy batter, proper chips. Sat by the window on a rainy afternoon. Just what I needed. Staff were friendly too.

The full English was spot on - quality ingredients and not greasy. What really made it was the house bloody mary they suggested. A bit of a wait for a table, but the drink pairing was thoughtful. Solid, hearty feed.

A very clean and organised place, which I always appreciate. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and the whole meal felt smooth from start to finish. Just a really comfortable spot for a quiet lunch.

Been here a few times. Staff are nice, they remember you. Brought water for our dog without asking, which is handy. Makes it easy to pop in.

Been a regular here for years. The menu's got all the classics, and the quality never slips. Had a lovely Pinot Noir with the Massaman curry last night – a surprisingly good match. The place was buzzing, but service was a tad slow.

Been here a few times now. The food's got a real depth to it, which I like. They're good with dietary stuff too, no fuss. Just solid cooking.

The lamb and new potato pie was the star. Proper homemade pastry, rich filling. A solid 20-minute walk from our hotel, but no regrets.

There was a nice fish at the entrance which was a great surprise, and then we went and had a roast on a train carriage which was a wholesome and delicious experience 10/10

Been coming here for years. The whopper burger and homemade chips are still solid, portions are big. Reminds me of the old days. Gets the job done.

Had the big lounge breakfast for brunch. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the avocado was really fresh. I appreciate that they use quality ingredients. Ordering on the app was easy. A nice, relaxed meal.
