They squeezed our group of eight in without a reservation, which was great. The wine list had some nice, approachable options that paired well with the shared plates.

Popped in for a quick coffee and had to get the halloumi wrap. The cheese was perfectly grilled, still soft inside with those lovely crispy edges. Just the right kind of savoury bite with my latte.

Came here for a late breakfast on the bank holiday. The self-service table app was a lifesaver, no waiting around. Had a decent flat white to start, but the real star was the fresh orange juice – it paired so well with the eggs benedict. Staff were on it, really attentive. A solid spot.

Service was spot on. The manager personally handled my gluten-free request, very attentive. Staff are knowledgeable and efficient. Good to see a place that takes dietary needs seriously.

Great pizza, and the wine list had some nice local options. Service was quick and friendly. The beer garden is a real plus on a sunny day.

Love the vibe here for a catch-up with mates. The jerk chicken was spot on, and the 2-4-1 cocktails were a win. Our server Beth was lovely, really added to the friendly feel. A solid spot for a relaxed evening.

Food was really good, especially the steak. Jimmy on the floor was lovely, remembered our drinks from last time. It is on the pricier side, but the quality's there.

Love the classic pub feel here. The garlic bread was just right, and the burger had this really nice, deep flavour. Not spicy, and the crunch was perfect. One of the best around.

The a la carte menu has a lot of options, which is nice. The food is really good, but the portions are a bit small for the price.

Been coming here for years. The brioche French toast with hazelnuts and salted caramel is my go-to for a lazy Sunday brunch. It's a solid sweet choice, though the caramel can be a bit much sometimes.

The cream tea was lovely, especially the huge scones. I had a very comfortable afternoon here. The service was friendly and unhurried, which I really appreciated. My only small note is that the chairs are a bit low for the tables.

Joanna was a lovely server, really attentive and made the whole evening feel relaxed. My chair was a bit wobbly, but she sorted it out straight away without any fuss. Just a nice, easy dinner.

The £12.95 deal for three tapas and a drink is pretty good value. The patatas bravas were decent. It was a nice spot for a birthday get-together, and the 2-for-1 cocktails were a nice touch.

The bread and butter pudding was tasty, but I would have loved it served a bit warmer. The ingredients tasted fresh, which I always appreciate.

The back garden is a proper sun trap. Had a pint there in January, and it was genuinely pleasant. Good spot for a quiet drink.

Ordering on the app is a breeze. The unlimited drinks are perfect for a hot day, and my food was ready right when I said it would be.

Stephen's service was spot on. The calzone was the standout, really good. Pizza and chicken Milanese were solid too.

Been coming here for years, and the place is always spotless. That's one thing they never let slip.

The milkshakes here are the real deal. Thick, creamy, and not too sweet. The cakes are always fresh, you can tell. Prices are fair for what you get. A solid spot for a treat.

Charging points and phone chargers are a lifesaver. The tablets kept the kids quiet for a solid hour. Perfect for a quick pit stop.

Popped in while passing through Melton. Really liked the vibe here - big, airy pub, not too crowded. Staff were spot on when I asked about the ales. Prices felt fair for what you get. Decent spot for a casual pint.

Nicola and George were so helpful when we needed to change our order last minute. They sorted it all out without any fuss, which was a relief. The whole thing felt very calm and easy.

The bread basket with oil and balsamic was a lovely start. My steak was cooked exactly as I asked, which is always a good sign.

The carvery here is a proper feast, especially on the days they do it. Massive portions for the price, which is perfect when you're out with a group and everyone wants to try a bit of everything. We left absolutely stuffed!

The jungle curry had a real kick, perfect for a cold evening. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the spice.
