We went to La Potence and ate La Potence - a delicious meat dish served on a very hot contraption, smothered in cognac that was set alight that cooked it with frites and four sauces. It was quite a display and tasted really good!

Cozy little place in the Black Forest, been coming here for a while now. The food’s always fresh and homemade, never disappoints. Service stays friendly too, which keeps me coming back.

Very welcoming staff. The fondue we ordered was great so was the cordon bleue. The staff was very friendly and lively. Ventilation of food cooking can be improved. I recommend

We were a big group. We loved everything there. The food was home made iraqi quality. The cleanliness of the place was great. The staff also very nice. Keep it up

Stick to the savory tarte flambée. The banana-chocolate dessert one was a miss for me.

Been coming here for years, and their hummus is still the best in town. Always that perfect creamy texture, never grainy. The warm bread they serve with it is just right.

Been coming here for years. The DJ's playlist is always on point, never the same old stuff you hear everywhere else. It just makes the whole vibe right.

Great food, great service. Welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend. We had the risotto and the chicken with mashed potatoes. Kids meals were large portions.

The fish soup was the highlight for me. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. The broth had a clean, natural flavor, not heavy at all. A very comforting and authentic dish.

The owner has such a warm way about him, it really makes the place feel special. He took a moment to chat at our table, which was a lovely personal touch.

Lovely terrace for a quiet lunch in Strasbourg. The shawarma was tasty, with nice thick cuts of meat. Service was friendly and unhurried, which I really appreciate. A comfortable spot.

Loved the vibe here! Felt so relaxed and homey, perfect for catching up with friends. The staff were super nice and quick with everything. The pasta was tasty and honestly not too pricey. Will definitely be back for more casual dinners. 😊

We sat outside right by the Murg, which was lovely. Schnitzel was big and properly crispy, exactly what I needed after a long walk. Service was a bit stretched, but they stayed friendly. Prices fair for the portion. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Lovely spot — that glass wall into the kitchen really caught my eye. Wine list had some interesting picks too. Slightly on the pricey side, but the food made up for it.

Came for the daily special. The portion was huge, I couldn't finish it. Prices are fair for what you get. Good for a filling lunch.

The Munster cheese fritters were a fun shareable starter! The banana pecan tiramisu was a great dessert to split with friends too. A solid spot for a casual group dinner.

The fish and chips were properly done—crispy batter, flaky inside. The hostess spoke English and helped us sort the menu, which I appreciated. Sauces on the side were a nice extra. Place was a bit busy but fine. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Best burgers in town, hands down. The patty is juicy and flavorful. Got the homemade dip for 60 cents, totally worth it. Quick service for a lunch bite. Prices are fair. My go-to spot now.

The staff here are so nice! We were chatting and they noticed we had a bit left, so they just brought us a box for our leftovers. Perfect for when you're catching up with friends and lose track.

Staff were friendly and kept checking in. Kebab was solid, one of the better ones around. Chips came out crispy. Portion size fair for the money.

We stopped by for dinner, not just breakfast, which was nice to find. I had the Unicorn salad—plenty of real chicken and a balsamic dressing that tasted homemade. My friend got the black gnocchi with pesto, also a good portion. Service was friendly and we never felt rushed. A solid spot if you want a relaxed meal without any fuss.

Salad bowls are massive here. Got the big one and barely finished half. Fresh stuff, lots of different toppings, not just boring lettuce. Even my friend who hates salads was impressed. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but you're basically getting two meals in one. Worth it if you're really hungry.

Portions were solid for the price, no complaints there. Sat in the beer garden, pretty chill even on a busy evening. Homemade ice cream was a nice little bonus.
