The dark chocolate xuxo is the reason I come here. The pastry is flaky, the chocolate filling is rich but not overly sweet. I get one to go sometimes. The crema catalana is also solid, good caramelized crust.

The patatas bravas here are really good, especially the sauce. The rest was fine, but those stood out.

Been coming here for years. Always grab a seat outside on the Rambla for the best people-watching with my drink.

The vegetable lasagna with pesto cream was a nice surprise. Really well done for a hotel restaurant.

Lovely spot by the river, a nice walk from the old town. The terrace was so peaceful in the evening. They even had mosquito repellent ready, which was a thoughtful touch.

The frankfurters are the star here. Grabbed a couple with friends and the quality is just so good. Perfect for a casual hangout, though a bit on the pricier side.

The weekday set menu is €15, and the quality is really solid for the price. I like that you can just walk in and get a proper meal without fuss. The terrace is nice, but it can get a bit loud with the street traffic. Still, a comfortable spot for a quiet lunch.

The grilled octopus was the standout. Tender, with a smoky char and a bright, acidic sauce that cut through the richness. The texture was spot-on, not rubbery at all. That's the dish I'd come back for.

The waiter who served us spoke excellent English and was very professional.

This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of tapas, and the quality is impressive. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service.

Been coming here for years. They rotate the menu weekly, keeps things fresh. Food is consistently well-prepared and tastes good. Reliable spot for a solid meal.

Lunch was lovely. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in my salad, the greens were crisp and the tomatoes tasted like they were just picked. It's a simple thing, but it makes such a difference.

Abdul was a great server, really friendly and on top of things. I tried the sea bream special with chimichurri. The fish was cooked just right, skin was crispy. The chimichurri had a nice fresh kick to it. Solid dish.

Loved the historic dining room! It's so pretty and made our girls' night feel a bit more special. Perfect for a relaxed catch-up over dinner.

First time trying their buckwheat crepe. The oyster mushrooms and brie inside were so good. Only thing, the dishes came out all at once, so the last one wasn't as warm. Still, the flavors were spot on.

The menu had so many choices, it was a nice surprise. I went for the cheese and patatas bravas, really liked that combo. Good for sharing.

Menu has solid options. Had the grilled fish and a rice dish, both well executed. Service was efficient. Good for a business lunch near the office.

The staff was so friendly and efficient. They really made the whole evening feel smooth and pleasant. A nice change of pace.

The menu changes with the seasons, and they really know how to treat local produce. I had a fantastic wine pairing with the main course—it just clicked. Left feeling perfectly satisfied, though the bill did add up.

Highly recommend Can Xabanet. They've got a varied daily menu at a very reasonable price, served by riendly and competent staff. One not to miss in Banyoles!

First time trying their tasting menu. The creative twist on the local seafood stew really stood out for me. Good portions for the price, too.

Found their set menu for 18€. Solid deal. The pasta was spot on, really good. Service was friendly and quick.

Food's decent. But my pasta arrived lukewarm, and the corner table felt a bit forgotten when it came to clearing plates. Just a note on the temperature.

The desserts were the best part. That little chocolate tart with the salted caramel drizzle... just the right amount of sweet. A lovely way to end the night.

The food was delicious, but it's a little expensive

Found this place after a hike in La Garrotxa. The set menu had good variety for the price. Service was attentive but not rushed. Solid option for a straightforward meal.

Just had their paella and a grilled steak. Simple, no-fuss, but really hit the spot. The set menu with drinks included makes it a solid choice for a relaxed lunch.

Came here for dinner with my friends last Friday. It was packed but still felt so relaxed, perfect for catching up. We stayed for hours just chatting. The pasta was good, nothing crazy. A bit pricey but we didn't mind.

Nice lunch spot. The fried chicken with garlic was crispy, and the pimientos had a good char. Coffee was strong. Service was friendly but a bit slow, maybe because it was busy.
