End of the season here, few people in the restaurant but excellent service and good food. The cheese sampler plate is superb

Been here twice now. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, which makes a difference. Food is consistently good. A solid spot for a reliable meal.

The gnocchi here was so soft and flavorful, honestly the best I've ever tried. Just melts in your mouth. That alone made the visit worth it.

Still my go-to for a quick, quality breakfast. The fresh croissants, filled while you wait, are consistently good. Service is efficient, which I appreciate on busy mornings. Prices are fair for the location.

Prices are fair for the area, especially given the view. Food is solid, nothing fancy. Been here a few times, it's a reliable spot. Doesn't have that overpriced touristy feel, which I appreciate.

The tuna tartare was so fresh and bright, really hit the spot. The shrimp risotto was creamy and comforting. They give you a lot, though—my friend and I definitely over-ordered. 😅

The granita here is a classic. A bit pricey for two, but you're paying for the location in the main square. Their wine list had a nice local white that paired perfectly with the lemon flavor.

Great spot for a business lunch. Mushroom risotto was solid, service was prompt. The outdoor area is a plus—my dog was comfortable on the fake grass. A bit pricey for the portion size, but convenient location.

Loved having lunch on the terrace! The view was so nice and relaxing. The pizza was good, especially the crust. My dog was welcome too, which was a plus.

The pastries are excellent, but the indoor seating is a bit tight when it's busy. Those outdoor tables are a nice alternative.

The frozen yogurt is good, and the seating by the waterfront is really nice.

Had the pasta with swordfish sauce. It was pretty good, fresh and well-made. The grilled tuna was also fine. The menu is concise, just a few fish options. A solid choice for a simple dinner.

Line was long but moved fast. Got the classic combo, hot and ready in under 10 minutes. Perfect for a quick lunch break.

Stumbled upon this place exploring Messina. The arancini and cannolo were so good, perfect for sharing with friends!

Loved the vibe here. The lighting was soft, and the music was just right—not too loud. It felt cozy and relaxed. The service was really nice, too. A good spot for a quiet dinner.

Loved the live music here. The band played some classics, and the bartenders really knew their stuff. It’s a great spot right by the water for a relaxed evening.

The fruit smoothies here are pretty good. You can pick your own fruit, which is nice. I had one with mango and banana - it was fresh and not too sweet. The sandwiches looked decent too, though I didn't try them. A solid spot for a quick, healthy drink.

Recommend. I had a very enjoyable lunch at Casa Vela. Varied menu to suit all tastes and the quality of the food and wine was excellent. Great location and ambience. Staff were friendly and efficient.

A clean, elegant spot. I liked sitting at the back where you can see into the kitchen—it's a nice touch. The food was pretty good, though the pacing between courses felt a bit slow.

Perfect for a quick bite before the ferry. The arancini selection is fantastic, especially the pistachio ones.

Not great - cheap ingredients and confused service

The pistachio ice cream was the highlight. Really rich and creamy, with a strong nutty flavor that wasn't too sweet. Just a perfect scoop.

I’ve been to Settimo Cielo many times and always found it a great experience a great value for money. On this occasion the price for our lunch had increased significantly which disappointed me somewhat.

I was in town for a week and ended up here every evening. The staff remembered my wine preference after the first night, which was a nice touch. The pasta was consistently good, solid comfort food.

The almond and pistachio granita is so good! The brioche was warm and soft, which made it perfect for sharing with friends. We just sat there for ages chatting and enjoying it. 😊
