The pad thai was solid and that chili oil on the table was seriously good. Ended up buying a jar to take home. Service was quick too.

The maca tea croissant is something you don't see every day—worth grabbing if you're in the area. Bread texture held up well even a couple days later. Only real hassle is parking, which is tight around there. Fine for a quick stop if you're already nearby, but I wouldn't drive across town just for it.

Came here hungry, left completely stuffed. Portions are seriously big for what you pay. Got the nachos and wings — both did the job. Wings were crispy, nachos loaded with toppings. Not a fancy place but honestly fine for a casual bite. Just don't come if you're in a rush, food took a while.

The coffee here was genuinely good, and I liked that they had oat milk without me having to ask. Staff were friendly too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable for staying longer.

The cuisine here is refined and of high quality. I highly recommend the pan-fried foie gras with risotto, paired with an excellent red wine. A great dining option near the W Hotel.

The gin and tonic here was honestly the highlight — came in this big fancy glass, looked almost too good to drink. Food was solid too, nothing crazy but well done. Place itself is pretty cozy, warm lighting, the kind of spot you can sit in for a while without noticing the time. Service kept it easy, no hovering. Maybe a bit on the pricier side for what it is, but I left feeling good about it.

Steak was spot on again, cheesecake still as good as the first time I had it. Been coming here for a while and that consistency keeps me coming back.

The waffles with fresh fruit were the highlight for me—crispy outside, fluffy inside, and piled with ripe berries. Place is cozy, menu has plenty of options. Came with two friends on a random weekday afternoon, we ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, but honestly didn't bother us much 😊

The beef stew was solid and the duck breast with goose liver hit the spot. Peter knew his stuff when we asked for recommendations. Cocktails were decent too.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, pasta was solid. Got the carbonara, creamy but not too heavy. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Prices felt fair for the portion. Place was busy but not chaotic. Probably one of the better Italian spots around here.

The red pepper chicken soup was the standout. Langos with sausage on the side worked well too. Portions are generous, easily enough for two. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place was busy but we got a table right away. Reasonable for what you get. Would stop by again if in the area.

Stopped here a few times while in town. The Roman-style pizza is light and crunchy, not too salty. Fresh toppings and the price is right. Solid spot.

The koobideh was properly juicy, not dry at all, and the seasoning was on point. Portion size surprised me honestly. The place is decorated with Persian books and art, felt like a tiny museum. I ended up staring at the walls between bites. Just wish they had a bit more ventilation, my jacket smelled like grilled meat for the rest of the day 😅

The view by the Danube is the whole reason to come here. Fish soup was solid, the Hungarian classics done right. Service friendly but a bit slow, we waited a while between courses. Portions are decent for the price, not huge but fair. I'd sit outside again just for the river view, even if the food wasn't the highlight.

Stopped by for a late breakfast. The garden patio is the real draw here, quiet and green. Had the smoothie bowl, it was fresh and pretty filling. Menu's got a good mix, even some vegan stuff. Interior's a bit much for my taste, all fairy-tale like, but it works. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

Stopped in for lunch after checking out the Basilica—it's literally right next door, super convenient. Had the pasta and a glass of local red, which paired nicely. Food's solid, nothing mind-blowing, but consistent. Staff were on top of things despite the crowd. Gets pretty packed around noon, so booking ahead is smart. I'd come back for the location alone.

The waiter didn’t flinch when I butchered the Hungarian pronunciation—just smiled and brought over the wine list. Ended up with a local red that paired nicely with the paprika-heavy dish. Place wasn’t fancy, but that kind of patience goes a long way. Would’ve liked a bit more guidance on the pours, though.

We stopped by after shopping near Korvin plaza. Pizza had a proper crust, toppings tasted fresh. Pasta was well seasoned too. Prices run a bit higher, but you can tell they use good stuff. Service was friendly, didn't feel rushed. Nice place if you want a decent meal without any hassle.

Simple place, no fuss. Had the tom yum and it was properly spicy, just the way I like it. Pad thai was solid too, maybe top three in the city for me. Prices are fair for what you get, not cheap but you're not getting ripped off either. I'd go back if I'm in the area and want a quick fix.

The goat cheese, spinach and beetroot toast was pretty good. Not a combo I'd normally pick but it worked. Chai latte was decent too. Place looks plain from outside but inside is fine. Maybe a bit busy when I went but service held up okay.

The beef ramen really hit the spot — broth was rich, noodles had that perfect chew. Place gets pretty busy though, so you might wait a bit for a seat. Still, that first sip of soup made it worth it. I’d go back just for that bowl. 🍜

Been coming here for a while now, and the pumpkin soup still gets me every time. It’s got this little twist that keeps it interesting, not the usual boring stuff. Dessert was solid too, rich without being too much. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place gets busy, but that’s a good sign, right?

The pumpkin soup was the highlight for me—really rich and creamy, with a nice depth of flavor. Duck leg came out tender, cooked just right. Sides worked well with it. Good spot to sit down and rest after walking around the Castle District. Just wish the service had been a bit quicker, but the food made up for it.

Food was solid but expect a wait during rush hour. Prices are steep, though the ingredients felt worth it.

Stopped by for a morning coffee and grabbed a cappuccino. Warm, drinkable, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Staff were friendly enough. Sat outside, which was nice. Would’ve liked a bit more of a wine list for later, but for coffee it’s fine.

Best cappuccino around here, hands down. Sandwiches are solid too. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Seating's tight though, so grab a spot when you can.

Decent brunch spot, glad we booked a table. The savory plates were pretty good, and the warm brownie was a nice touch. Cinnamon bun was a bit dry, but fine overall. Staff were quick and friendly. Small place, but that's part of the charm. Locker for your bag is a handy detail.

The portions are solid and the price felt fair. Way better than the overpriced stuff at the festival nearby. Got the goulash, it was hearty and had a good kick. Not fancy, but you leave full without feeling ripped off. That's all I really ask for.

Lovely little cafe tucked away from the tourist chaos. The coffee was proper strong, and the owner actually took time to chat with us. Way cheaper than the places on the main strip too.

The avocado toast was a solid pick—eggs cooked just right and the portion was generous. Prices felt fair for what you get.
