My husband and I came by because of a review in our Route 66 road-trip book. We purchased a Dutch Apple pie, and 3 slices of Dutch apple, strawberry-rhubarb and a buttermilk. That was a month ago, and all I can think of now is how fantastic they were, but especially that buttermilk pie!!! It was the best piece of pie I&rsquo;ve ever eaten. I have Googled recipes for buttermilk pie, but it does not look or sound as good as the one I had here. I looked to see if this business ships pie, and sadly, they do not. It&rsquo;s way out of our way to come back, but if you are within 200 miles of this slice-of-pie heaven, you need to drive in and purchase some. Get extra to freeze. We couldn&rsquo;t as we were spending 4 days in the car. You will love these pies! Get the buttermilk for sure!

The owners are here a lot, which is cool. Servers are really on top of things, super friendly and quick. Makes the whole place feel more relaxed and personal.

A nice spot in a converted schoolhouse, a bit out of the way but easy parking. I appreciated the comfortable seating and the quiet atmosphere. The tea was a good choice for a relaxed afternoon.
