First time at The Croft. The steak and ale pie was spot on, really savoury with a proper flaky pastry. The veg on the side were fresh and not overcooked. Made for a solid, cosy lunch.

The beef Wellington for two was spot on. Live piano in the background was a nice touch.

Been here a couple of times now. The food is always spot on, really good portions and cooked just right. The free car park out back is a lifesaver around here, saves a lot of hassle. 👍

The ginger pineapple duck came out sizzling, which was a great start. Really tender meat and loads of flavour. Portions are huge here, I barely finished half.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent service and tasty food. Claire went above and beyond to make our meal special.

Picked up a pre-ordered takeaway, everything was ready right on time. The set meal was such good value, and the food was really tasty. The whole process was so straightforward and hassle-free.

Loved the vibe here, really cosy and relaxed. The lamb rack and risotto were generous, but honestly I just kept noticing the lighting and the comfy chairs.

Came in late for lunch, they were still happy to seat us. The service was really smooth and friendly. My quinoa bowl was fresh and tasty.

Decent spot for a casual meal. The noodle selection is solid, went for the spicy beef ramen. Broth was rich, noodles had a nice chew. Could've been a bit hotter when it arrived, but flavour was good.

Solid spot for a business lunch. The char-grilled squid was cooked well, not rubbery. Calzone portion was generous. Service was prompt, which is key when you're on a tight schedule. Convenient location near the office.

The food is consistently good value. I find myself visiting almost every week for that reason. The portions are decent, and the flavours are reliable. It's just solid, no-fuss cooking.

The view of the golf course is lovely, really nice for a quiet lunch. The food was decent, though the service was a little slow. A pretty good spot overall.

The stone-baked pizza here is lovely, made fresh each time. I really appreciate that they have a good variety on the menu, so there's something for different tastes. The service was friendly and prompt, which made for a relaxed lunch. A nice, comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

The staff were really polite and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, which was nice. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

Haven't been in a few years, but the food comes on properly warmed plates now. Nice touch.

I volunteer nearby and order their meat feast pizza regularly. Always tasty.

Been coming here for lunch for months. Food's always solid, the team's quick and friendly. Never had a bad meal. Good spot for a reliable bite.

The curry sauce with the fish and chips is the star here. It's got a proper depth of flavour, not just a thin gravy. The fish itself was fine, but that sauce is what I'll remember. The smoked sausage was decent, a reliable option.

Love the old-school truck stop vibe. Breakfast is the move here - simple menu but they nail it. Pies and burgers look solid too. Staff are friendly, tables are clean. Just a good, no-fuss spot.

The server knew all the local beers and gave a great suggestion. Very helpful but not intrusive at all.
