The milkshakes are spot on. Thick, not too sweet, just right. Been coming here for years and they're always consistent. The rest of the menu looks good, need to branch out next time.

Came here with my mates for a catch-up and it was spot on. The halloumi fries were so good we ordered a second plate! Music was a fun mix, not too loud so we could actually chat. A solid spot for a group.

The lamb shank was the highlight. Slow-cooked for hours, it fell apart with a fork. The gravy had a deep, rich flavour that went perfectly with the mash. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the meat itself, but the texture was spot on.

The staff were so lovely! They made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Service was quick and friendly, which is perfect when you're catching up with friends and don't want to wait around.

The service here is top-notch! Our server, Grace, was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was served quickly and tasted fantastic.

The staff and owners always make you feel very welcome and looked after. Special mention to the gentleman who looked after us today 8th June and he was working on his birthday . He’s a credit to the restaurant. Very attentive with a lovely manner , made the afternoon lovely. Also thank you to the owner ( lady with red hair ) she always makes time to chat and welcome everyone. Been coming for years and will continue. Excellent thank you

Duck and chorizo salad was the standout. The duck was properly cooked, not dry at all, and the chorizo had a nice smoky kick to it. The greens were fresh, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Popped in for lunch. The grilled salmon was really good, fresh and cooked just right. Service was quick and friendly. Might stop by again if I'm in the area.

The waffle cone was dipped in chocolate, which was a nice touch. The Bounty & Rum n Raisin flavours were a really good combo. Staff were lovely and the place is sparkling clean.

The food looks incredible, like it's straight out of a magazine. You can tell they use really good stuff. It's a nice change from the usual grab-and-go spot.

Love the quirky decor here. Staff are really friendly too. Their 6% pub IPA is solid, and the fridges have some interesting finds.

Really enjoyed the local craft ales here. The owners clearly know their stuff and have a great selection. It's nice to find a place that focuses on independent brewers. The seating was comfortable too, which made for a relaxed visit.

Came for a quick lunch. The food was spot on, flavours were great. Presentation was really nice too. Staff were friendly. Got my order out fast, which is what I needed. Good for a quick bite.

Popped in for a coffee and the lady serving was so lovely. The flat white was really smooth, just right. Saw a few plates of their eggs benedict go by and they looked fantastic. Might have to come back for that!

Been coming here for a while now. The space feels really calm and open, which I always appreciate. It’s a nice spot to just unwind over some reliable noodles.

Came for a quiet dinner, not a celebration. The steak was cooked just right, not overdone. Menu's got a decent range, nothing too fussy. Service was friendly, no complaints there. It's a solid local spot for a reliable meal.

This place is a proper find! The food is so fresh and tasty, and the portions are generous. The staff were really lovely too, which made our little catch-up feel extra relaxed. Perfect for a chilled dinner with friends.

The ribs were fantastic, really tender and flavourful. Everything else in our takeaway was spot on too. Just a shame the delivery took a bit longer than expected, but the food was worth the wait.

Popped in for a coffee while walking around. The place feels really cosy and lived-in, like a proper local spot. Barista was sound, got my flat white sorted quick. Prices are decent for what you get.

Came for the fish and chips. The batter was properly crispy all over, and the homemade curry sauce was a nice touch. Chips stayed hot till the last bite. Solid.

The scones here are incredible. Still warm from the oven, with that perfect flaky texture inside. Honestly, the best I've ever tried. The rest of the cafe is lovely, but those scones are the real star.

The dairy-free snacks were a nice find, and the staff helped me pick some out. The raspberry tea was lovely on a rainy day.

The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, falling off the bone. The red wine jus had a deep, rich flavour that really worked with the meat. It's a bit pricey for the portion size, but the taste was spot on.

The vegan chocolate cake was surprisingly good. Moist, rich, and not overly sweet. They had a few other gluten-free options on the counter too. Staff knew exactly what was in it when I asked.

Such an amazing dining experience! The owner was incredibly kind, ensuring every guest was satisfied. This place is truly a hidden gem!

The breakfast for two was a good size and around £12, which felt reasonable. I appreciated the fresh ingredients, especially the tomatoes and avocado. They tasted really vibrant.

The ice cream here was a real find. Rich and creamy, you can tell they use quality ingredients. A proper treat after a long walk in the Lake District.

The staff here are so on it! Even when it's absolutely rammed, they're still checking in and keeping things moving. Felt really looked after, which is a big plus when you're catching up with mates.

Tried the spinach and feta pie on a whim. Really enjoyed it, the pastry was flaky and the filling was just right. A solid, satisfying choice. The space itself is lovely - high ceilings, lots of natural light, and comfy seating. Just a nice, relaxed spot.
