The service was fine, they were happy to swap out a couple of things on the set menu for us. It was a decent, relaxed meal. The only thing was that it took a little while to get the bill sorted at the end.

The fish and chips are cooked fresh, which is nice. Portions are generous for the price. Staff were really friendly and attentive when I mentioned a dietary concern.

Been a few times since the new owners came in. Service is always spot on, no complaints there. The wine list is decent, had a nice Rioja last visit that went well with the steak. Prices are fair for the area.

Came for the harbour view at sunset. It really is something. Stayed for the grilled sea bass, which was simple but cooked just right. A bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for that view.

Loved the old bank building's character. The harbour view with all the boats was just perfect for a quiet lunch. A bit pricey, but the setting made it worthwhile.

Grabbed a takeaway pie and mash on my lunch break. Came out fast and piping hot, perfect for a quick bite. The filling was really tasty. Saw some other decent options on the menu too.

Came here for a casual catch-up. The fish and chips were spot on – really crispy batter and the fish tasted super fresh. Perfect for sharing a big portion with mates. Just a bit pricey for what it is, but we had a good time.

The staff are lovely, and the wine list had some nice local options to go with the hearty portions.

The ice cream here is fantastic. I tried the pistachio flavour and it was so creamy, with these little crunchy bits of nuts. A bit pricier than other spots, but you get a really generous scoop. Sat on the bench outside watching the boats.

Loved the soft play area at the back, it kept the kids happy. The overall vibe is cozy and family-friendly.

Lovely spot by the harbour. Came for the first time and really enjoyed the king prawn green curry – the heat was just right for me. A nice find!

Decent spot for a solo business lunch. Open kitchen is a nice touch, you can see the care in prep. The set menu was efficient, good portion for the price. Service was prompt, which I appreciate. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

Been coming here for years, and their Hyderabadi biryani is always spot on.

The team here are just lovely. They remembered I’d asked for extra ice last time and brought it without me asking. Little things like that make a difference.

Nice vibe for the open mic night. The seats were comfy enough to enjoy a couple of beers and the show.

Service here is always so prompt and friendly. My food arrived quickly, and the staff are consistently attentive without being overbearing. It makes for a very relaxed meal.

Sunday roast, especially the lamb. Portions are generous, flavour is solid. Probably the best option nearby for a reliable meal.

Back again and still a solid spot for a catch-up. The Eggs Royale were spot on, and my friend loved her Cocoloco smoothie. Service was friendly and not rushed, which was nice.
