Portion sizes above average and, even when there's rugby on or a super-sized party in attendance, the service is remarkably quick and reliable. Yorkshire Puddings are a meal on their own :-) Book in advance, though. There's a roaring fire on in the winter so you'll be cosy too and after a pint you will feel your face getting extremely warm! They were friendly and cared about the event, bringing out our cake at the end of the meal and giving my mum a drink on the house. She was so surprised and happy, so for that it means a lot.
