The fish and chips were top quality and tasted super fresh. But what really stood out was the space itself – the high ceilings and big windows made the whole place feel so light and airy. A nice spot to just sit for a while.

Such a lovely place! A range of items on the menu to browse on, and really delicious food. The setting of the entire building is super pretty and is only a minute away from the Leeds shopping centre! Not too pricey and in the city centre. Definitely recommend.

Tried a few starters, the samosas were spot on. The Punjabi lamb curry had that slow-cooked tenderness, really hit the spot. Peacock cider was a nice find, went well with the spice. Mango lassi was refreshing. Solid meal.

Came for the steak selection and wasn't disappointed. The server was so knowledgeable about the different cuts, explained everything clearly. Ended up with a sirloin based on her advice and it was spot on. Really helpful when the menu is that extensive!

Popped in for a quick bite. The sausage rolls are decent, not too greasy and the pastry is flaky. Good value. Nice to see a few dogs around too, makes it feel relaxed.

The curried goat was a nice change from the usual pub grub. Chef knows what they're doing with it.

The staff were really friendly, and I appreciated the wine list they suggested. It made the wait with the kids much smoother.

The salad was generous and fresh. Their wine list had a nice pairing suggestion for it, which worked well.

Lovely little pub, perfect for a chilly night. The wood-burning stove is a really nice touch. I appreciated that they had a couple of lighter, fresh salad options on the menu alongside the heartier pub classics. A nice spot to warm up.

Been coming here for years and the tiramisu is always spot on. Light, not too sweet, just right.

Took the sushi class with Jack. He's a good teacher, patient and explains things well. The sushi we rolled turned out pretty decent. They threw in a couple of extra small plates too, which was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years, always grab the late breakfast. It's just consistently good, you know? The eggs are always runny the way I like, bacon crispy. That's what keeps me coming back.

The chicken mandi was spot on, tasted exactly like what I remember from my trip. Portion size was decent for the price, definitely enough for two.

The som tum here is fantastic, but wow, that spice level is no joke. I love a good kick, but even for me it was a lot. Maybe ask for mild if you're not sure. Still, the flavours were spot on.

I had a wonderful evening at The Pine Marten, where the ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. The staff, especially Lily and Layla, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our visit truly memorable.

Booked ahead for a Friday night, which was needed—it's a tiny basement spot. The vibe was lively and cosy, felt like the real deal. Portions were decent for the price, no complaints there.

This place is a hidden gem! The food is always fresh and well-prepared, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends.

Staff remembered my name from a previous visit, which was a nice touch. They sat me at a quiet corner table, perfect for a solo dinner. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Made for a relaxed evening.

The lunch deal with fish and chips is a solid shout for a catch-up. Good portion and a drink for £13.

The Hugo Spritz was spot on. The Sticky Chicken from the bar snacks menu though, that was the star. Perfectly glazed, tender, and just the right size for sharing. A solid choice for a casual drink and a bite.

Sunday lunch today was our second meal here after an excellent prix fixe dinner earlier in the week. Everything from the buffet spread to start with to the main meal and dessert was first-rate, made even more special by the fact that the expected sirloin of beef was replaced by chateaubriand! Served pink at our request it was tender and succulent. Fullmarks to the chef and to Will our genial and professional server.

Amazing service and such a lovely friendly waiter , food was fast and lovely , Only quark was the restaurant was chilly bar that 9/10 for me even went back the night after

On a recent visit to Bettys Cafe and Tea Room in Harrogate, I was completely charmed. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and gentle buzz of conversation made me feel right at home. The staff were lovely and guided my wife and I to a cozy corner overlooking the memorial. We had a cheese scone and a fruit tart to share and for drinks we had a hot chocolate and a latte. The scone was heavenly scones, and the tart was fresh and tasty, it looked almost too good to eat. The m whole experience was lovely. This visit tells me why Bettys is such a beloved spot, offering elegance with a touch of nostalgic charm.#bettystearoom#harrogate

Very impressed. I only made the booking as i bought a brand new Car and wanted to go for an hour drive. Lets just say i will be visiting again in the very near future. The eating area behind with the sun shining down and the most tasteful food served made it very memorable.

Been coming here for years. The morning menu is always spot on, and they keep the dog-friendly vibe going strong.

The veggie lasagna is solid. Pasta layers were cooked just right, not too soft. Good portion for the price. Service was prompt, which I appreciate during a business lunch.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and have a good laugh with you. It's that kind of relaxed, familiar feeling that keeps me coming back. Makes the whole place feel like a proper local spot.

The scones here are incredible. Still warm from the oven, with that perfect flaky texture inside. Honestly, the best I've ever tried. The rest of the cafe is lovely, but those scones are the real star.
