A little jewel in the quiet centre of Clermont Ferrand. Véronique - le chef - rains in the kitchen where everything is cooked from scratch in the house. She uses one waiter - a very nice receptive lady — and their team is formidable! We ate today a pumpkin crumble, salmon and blanket de veau with fresh pasta and for desert: crème brûlée and drunk pear with salty caramel and black sesame ice-cream, To top up our experience today, we were offered a nice dry wine from… Auvergne and it was very goo with its gentle fruity notes. We spent for two with a 1/2 bottle of wine about €45. Wholehearted commendations!

The welcome was so warm, and the food tasted homemade.

Loved the food but we didn't get all we wanted as they were low on some ingredients. With a few improvements to the state of the restaurant and stock problems, Mama Africa could improve it's standing in that area.

Love the experience at La Table de Thierry. The Chef is an excellent host and the food is impeccable. It’s a must dine experience to get a true taste of the local flavor and hospitality.

Had a lovely dinner here. The old building is beautiful and the atmosphere is so cozy. The staff was very attentive, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

Nice restaurant in the hotel. Good location when you’re travelling. Nice staff

This is a great restaurant of you like wine and cheese! We loved the wines and cheese combinations that they made… it a great place!!

Loved the rustic vibe here, perfect after a long hike. The staff was friendly and quick. My trout was cooked just right, crispy skin and all. A bit pricey for the portion, but the cozy atmosphere made up for it.

Had a quiet New Year's Eve here. The raclette was comforting, and the tiramisu hit the spot. They had a decent house red that went well with the cheese. A bit on the pricey side for what it was, but the relaxed vibe was nice.

Cozy chalet vibe, felt like a proper mountain lodge. Had the beef bourguignon, rich and tender, just right for the chilly evening. A bit pricey, but the atmosphere made it work.

The set menu egg was silky, the fish skin crisp. Chocolate dessert had a bitter edge that worked. White wine suggestion was spot on.

The set menu was spot on. Flavors in every course, from the amuse bouche to the cheese, were really clear and distinct.

Service was quick and friendly, the waitress speaking English really helped. We ordered the steak frites, cooked just right. A bit pricey for the portion, but the vibe was nice.

The Esquisse menu was a great deal. Really enjoyed the flow of dishes, you can tell they know what they're doing. Wine list is solid, but the pours by the glass felt a touch light for what you pay.

The duck confit was spot on, crispy skin and tender meat. Salmon pavé also cooked nicely. Lunch set at 21.5€ is fair for the quality. Handy location by the tram stop.

The dessert soufflé was light and airy, but honestly, for the price they charge, I was expecting a slightly bigger portion. It was gone in a few bites.

The €22 set menu is a solid deal. Had the homemade pasta, sauce was rich and the pasta itself had a nice bite. Good portion too.

As a vegetarian, I found some pretty good options here in Vichy. The dishes were quite authentic.

The food was pretty good. The chef came out to chat for a bit, which was a nice touch. Service was friendly and efficient. A solid spot for a decent meal.

Decent spot with good music. Manager put on a playlist, made it chill.

Got a table on the terrace. It's a quiet little spot tucked away in the greenery, felt like a nice escape from the street. The spritz was good.

The fish was the standout. Perfectly cooked, flaky and moist. The sauce had a subtle citrus note that cut through the richness just right. Everything else was good, but that dish was on another level.

The kitchen counter was a treat. Loved watching the chefs work, so focused and smooth. Chef came over a few times to explain the dishes, which was a nice touch. The whole flow of service was really something to see.

Stopped in for a late afternoon tea. The crepes were delicious and so nicely presented. The staff were really lovely and attentive, which made the whole visit feel very relaxed. A very clean and pleasant spot.

Solid food and quick service, but the portions are what really stand out. Ordered the burger, and it was huge, easily shareable. For the price at a ski resort, that’s a win.

The entrecôte was good, but the real star was their potato and cheese dish. It's a house specialty for a reason. The dining room has this lovely, warm glow in the evening that just makes you want to linger.
