The kimchi had that perfect sour kick, just like I remember from Seoul. It cut right through the rich beef stew. The other banchan were so fresh, too. Really made the meal.

The plates were like little paintings. Each course arrived on a different, stunning piece of pottery. You could tell someone really thought about how it all looked. Made the whole evening feel a bit more elegant.

The umitake and mantis shrimp were a great first try. The house sake they suggested really brought out the subtle briny flavors.

The staff are always so helpful and polite. It's a calm, traditional shop that feels like stepping back in time.
