First time trying their grilled mackerel set. The fish skin was perfectly crispy, and the portion was generous. A solid neighborhood spot.

Cozy spot, the owner's warmth really makes it. Came for a solo dinner. Their house red was a surprisingly good match with the simple pasta—made the whole evening. A nice, quiet place to unwind.

Tucked away down a staircase, so easy to miss. Small, intimate space with counter seating. Had a quick solo lunch at the counter; service was efficient. The set menu was reasonably priced and the food came out fast. Good for a working lunch downtown.

Participating in the sutra reading at Vowz Bar was a highlight of my visit. The monks lead the session with genuine warmth, creating a special connection among patrons.

The owners played guitar and saxophone live for our karaoke. They knew every song we picked! Felt like being the lead singer for a night. A really fun, different kind of evening.

Great spot for a casual drink with friends! The wine list is solid and the small plates are tasty.

Found this cozy spot near Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. The keema curry from the lunch menu had a nice spicy kick, really hit the spot. Just the right kind of quiet for a solo meal, felt very relaxed.

The bartender really knows his stuff. I asked for something a bit different, and he took his time, really thought about it. The result was spot on. Music was a nice mix too, not too loud.

Kudo san was a fantastic host, very engaging. The homemade sauces really stood out. I had a glass of their house red with the braised pork, and it was a nice match.

The sake tasting course is a solid choice. You get a good variety, and the pours are generous for the price. I appreciated the straightforward approach.

Been coming here for years. That sweet and spicy salad curry is my go-to. It's not your usual rice bowl, more like taco rice vibes. Always hits the spot.

Stopped by for a late glass of red. The wine list is solid, lots to choose from. Shared a few small plates, the food was tasty and kept things casual. Good spot to unwind.

Although it can get crowded, the atmosphere and the bartender's skills make the wait worthwhile.

Good spot for a quick bite near the station. Prices are fair for the area. Got the lunch set, came out fast. Just what you need when you're in a rush.

A quick walk from Shinjuku West Exit. My friends and I tried the Scotch floor first, then headed up to the Bourbon level—totally different energy! Great for moving around with a group. The vibe on each floor really is its own thing.

The owner is a real wine enthusiast. We had a nice chat about their selection, which really added to the relaxed vibe. The food was tasty and the prices felt fair. A solid local spot.

A relaxed spot with a fun gacha machine for trying new whiskeys. The staff was helpful in suggesting a pour that paired nicely with the smoky notes in my dish. Solid selection.
