The al pastor pizza from the brick oven was the move—sweet pineapple with that smoky char worked way better than I expected. Place has a fun buzz to it, though you might have to raise your voice once it fills up. I grabbed a mezcal cocktail on the side, and honestly the smoky notes paired nicely with the pie. Solid spot if you're in the mood for something casual.

The Chela Rolla burger was the reason I picked this place and it didn't disappoint. Juicy, messy, exactly what you want. We also had the Ensalada Rio Frío on the side, which was fresh and cut through the heaviness. Place was packed and loud, but the energy was fun. Service kept up fine even with our big group. Menu is massive, almost too much to look at.

The atmosphere is fantastic, making it a great spot for gatherings. Just be prepared for it to get crowded, so arriving early is a must!

Came here with a couple friends and honestly the burrito was massive 😅 like I couldn’t even finish it. For the price, you’re getting a lot of food which is always a win in my book. Place is pretty casual, nothing fancy, but it worked for a quick bite. Just wish they had a bit more seating, we had to wait a few minutes.

The Italian sandwich was solid and came out fast. Cappuccino was just okay but whatever. Good spot for a quick bite.

The crispy pork belly with that honey chili crisp and coconut cream was unreal—easily the best bite I’ve had in a while. Wish they’d offered a wine pairing to go with it though.

Decent wine list and the service was fine. The beef tenderloin, flamed tableside, came out a perfect medium rare. Pretty good spot for a quiet dinner.

The beef carpaccio with red miso was the standout—duck was good too. Portions are big enough to share, so keep that in mind.

We came for a family thing and honestly the short rib with mushroom risotto was the highlight. Meat fell apart, risotto was creamy without being heavy. Service was attentive but not hovering. Only downside, it’s loud inside, we had to raise our voices a bit. Make a reservation, place was packed even on a Tuesday.

The strawberry ice cream was really good—you can tell they use actual fruit in it. But man, the service is slow. Like, we were almost the only people there and still waited forever for two scoops. I’d come back for the flavor though, just maybe not when I’m in a hurry.

Came here for dinner last week. The vegan plate was actually really good, chef knows what they're doing. Place looks nice too, big windows. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. It's not cheap though, so don't come expecting a bargain. I'd go back if someone else is paying.

Nice spot with a real apothecary feel—hanging plants and live jazz set the mood. Cocktails were inventive, food fresh. Service did slow down once it got busy, but overall a decent evening.

The ceviche here is seriously good. I got the mixed one and the fish was super fresh, lime flavor just right. Menu is pretty simple but they do it well. Place is clean too. Wish I lived closer so I could come back more often.

Been coming here for years. The wine list isn't fancy but they've got a decent Malbec that pairs well with the grilled fish. Place has that old-school charm, 40 years in business and you can tell. Prices fair for what you get. Service was fine, nothing rushed.

Loved the mini pastries—got to try a few flavors without committing to one big dessert. Coffee was solid too, exactly what I needed. Place was a bit busy but worth it for a quick stop.

Ordered kosher meat and wine for delivery to Quepos. Owner kept in touch the whole time, no issues. Meat was good quality, exactly what we needed for the trip. Took a bit to arrange but worth it. Would use them again if we're back in the area.

Food was good, drinks too. But man, the bill hurt. Prices are high and then they hit you with their own exchange rate on top. Felt like we paid way more than the meal was worth. Maybe I'd come back if I'm not the one paying. 😅
