The date night special was solid — good food and the price felt fair for two. Staff brought out olives and chips while we waited, which was a nice touch. Service stayed sharp the whole time.

Came in on a cold Saturday, old school burger was just right—not too saucy, hot and tasty. Got seated straight away, no fuss.

Play areas for younger kids and teens are a solid plus here. Food came out fresh, well-prepared, nothing fancy but done right. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Good spot if you need something practical with the family.

The beef trinchado starter was decent, really flavourful. Malva pudding for dessert was a solid finish. Mains were hearty too, though nothing mind-blowing.

The ambiance at Aurum is truly special, making it a great spot for celebrations, although the food could be elevated to match the beautiful setting.

Stopped by for lunch last week. The garden setting is really nice, ducks swimming in the pond while you eat. Pizza was solid, not fancy but good. They bring bottles of their own jalapeño and chili sauce to the table so you can add as much heat as you want. That was a nice touch. Place was a bit busy but fine.

The pita was soft and warm, filled generously. Tzatziki tasted fresh too. Solid spot for a relaxed lunch, though it did get a bit busy around noon.

Solid lunch spot. The grilled kingklip was cooked properly, flaky and moist. Service kept up even when it got busy around 1pm.

Carol really looked after us - kept checking in without hovering. The Thom Yum soup was properly good, hot and sour just right. Only thing, the place got a bit busy later and the seats are on the harder side. But for a casual dinner it worked fine. I'd pop back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now. The service is what keeps me coming back honestly. Server remembered my usual order last time, didn't even have to ask. Food's consistent too, never had a bad meal. Place gets busy on weekends but they still manage to keep things moving. Just wish they'd open earlier on Sundays, that's about it.

The food at Amuse Bouche was exquisite, with each course beautifully presented and perfectly portioned. The attention to detail truly enhanced the dining experience.

Qunu offers an outstanding dining experience with personalized service and exquisite food. The warm and charming ambiance makes it perfect for special occasions.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast. Food came out fast, which I needed. Portion was solid for the price. Place looks really nice inside, one of the better Tashas branches I've been to. Staff kept checking in too. No complaints.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night. Got the chicken bao and honestly it was proper good, soft bun and tasty filling. Service though, a bit all over the place. One guy looked like he didnt want to be there. Not a big deal if you just want decent food without the fuss. I'd go back for that bao again.

Decent spot for a cigar lounge. DJ played well, sound quality was solid. Music leaned a bit too commercial for my taste though. Would've liked more variety in genres. Still, a pretty good place to hang out if you're into that scene.

The staff here actually seem to care — they remembered my drink order from last time and brought it over without me asking. That never happens at most places. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but the service alone makes me want to come back. Place was a bit busy for a Tuesday though.

The smashburger and ribs combo is proper hearty. Oreo milkshake went down well too. Place gets loud but it's a decent casual spot in Sandton.

The springbok sushi really stood out — such a unique flavour, still thinking about it days later. Place has a nice upscale buzz to it, though it did feel a bit lively for my taste. Service was friendly enough and we never felt rushed. Would come back for that dish alone, just maybe on a quieter evening.

The tomahawk steak was seriously good—cooked just right and so flavourful. Jalapeño poppers were a solid starter too. Service was a bit all over the place, but I’d still go back for that steak 😋

The chimichurri steak’s been solid every single time I’ve been here. Staff remember you too, which is rare. That’s why I keep coming back.

The music lineup here is always solid, and the vibe stays lively without feeling chaotic. Security was on it too, which I appreciated.

Came for the Sunday drink specials and ended up trying their new seltzer samples—free, which was a nice surprise. Place is small though, so we ended up standing the whole time. Fine if you're just grabbing a quick one, but don't expect to lounge around.

The view from the deck is amazing, perfect for relaxing with a drink and enjoying the chill vibe.

Restaurant in Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton, Johannesburg

Stopped by for a late dinner and grabbed the ribs—properly smoked, fell off the bone. Cocktails were solid too, not watered down. Place has a decent buzz without being chaos. Bill was a bit steep though, but honestly, for the quality, I can't complain too much. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by on a busy Friday night. Steak was cooked properly and the tacos had real flavour, not the bland stuff you get everywhere. Place has a modern vibe, music was decent. Service did drag a bit because it was packed, but the waiters stayed friendly about it. Would go back for the food alone.

Stopped here for a quick bite. Got the chicken lollipops and biryani. Lollipops were way too tangy for me. Biryani was alright, nothing special. Service was fast though, which I appreciated. Decent spot if you're in a hurry and craving Indian, just don't expect mind-blowing flavors.

Food was decent — had the grilled fish and it came out well cooked, not dry. Service was fine too, though the manager did raise his voice at a staff member near our table. Made things a bit awkward for a moment. Otherwise a pretty good spot for a casual dinner.
