House wine was solid and the lasagne al forno hit the spot. Rich, cheesy, exactly what I needed. Place has a nice vibe too. 🍷

The location of this café is beautiful, right in the heart of Basel. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and take in the scenery.

The beef stew was pretty good—tender, rich, not overly salty. Appetizers and the ice cream scoops were fine as well. My grandmother had the wienerschnitzel, said it was decent but nothing special. Waitress handled the busy lunch crowd well. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The beet salad was a bit watery, sadly. Quiche came lukewarm too. But the staff were nice, and the whole place just feels easy. Low-key, no fuss. I liked sitting there, even if the food wasn't perfect. Would come back for the atmosphere alone, honestly.

The Black Forest cake here is a real gem. Layers of chocolate sponge, fresh cherries, and just the right amount of cream. It's not overly sweet, which I love. A perfect little treat with my afternoon coffee.

Lovely spot to sit outside on a summer evening. The old building itself has a nice charm to it. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but the atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

The choco croissant was still warm when I got it. Coffee’s solid too, nothing fancy but does the job for a quick breakfast stop.

The buffet had plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering. Only wish the seating area was a bit more comfortable, but overall a solid spot.

This restaurant offers a unique experience with excellent pan-European food, making it a hidden gem worth visiting.
