The Tolkien-themed decor caught me off guard, in a good way. Fits the alpine vibe without feeling gimmicky. Food was solid, nicely plated, flavors came through well. Staff seemed genuinely friendly, not just doing the job. Place has character, that&#39;s for sure. Wouldn&#39;t mind coming back if I&#39;m in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now. The bookstore-caf&eacute; combo still works for me, and the music&#39;s always on point. Sometimes someone hops on the piano, which is a nice touch.

Stopped here with the kids and honestly the outdoor terrace is the main reason to come. Playground is right there so they ran off and we actually got to eat in peace. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the setting does the heavy lifting. Service was a bit slow but whatever, we weren&#39;t in a rush.

The lavender lemonade was the highlight honestly. I sat near the window and the light was nice, not too harsh. Place felt clean and the chairs were actually comfortable enough to stay a while. The arugula pesto croissant was the highlight &mdash; flaky, savory, and gone too fast. Looked a little sad on the plate, but tasted better than it looked. Would&rsquo;ve loved a proper wine pairing with it, but breakfast and all.

Came for breakfast, left full. Portions are big, eggs done right, coffee strong enough. Place was clean, staff polite. Price fair for what you get. Nothing fancy but does the job.
