Good food, but wow, the noise level when it's packed is something else. Could barely hear my friend across the table. Great for a quick bite, not for chatting.

Stopped by for lunch on a quiet afternoon. Schnitzel was solid, crispy, not greasy. Staff actually seemed happy to be there, which counts for a lot these days. Place is easy to find in Poppenbüttel. Only thing, it got a bit busy later and service slowed down. Fine for a casual meal though.

The burger was really good, almost finished it before I remembered to snap a photo. Staff were friendly and on top of things. Would come back for sure.

The sourdough breakfast slice hit the spot, €8.50 is fair for what you get. Staff noticed I was cold and brought hot water to warm my hands while waiting. Nice little place to sit and take your time in the morning.

Been coming here for a while now and the food stays consistent. Had the pasta again tonight, still good. Service was friendly, no complaints.

Decent little place for a morning coffee. Cappuccino was pretty good, honestly one of the better ones I've had around here. Breakfast menu is fine, nothing fancy but solid. It's got that homey, neighborhood vibe. Just wish they had a bit more seating, got a little cramped.

Came here after walking around town, pretty solid spot. Had the schnitzel, it was cooked right, crispy and juicy. Place was quiet enough to actually talk. Service was fine, nothing fancy but they got the job done. Prices are okay for what you get, not cheap but not a rip-off either. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

The Tandoori Mix platter came out still sizzling, really well grilled. That was the highlight for me. Service was fine, no complaints. The place has this rustic vibe, nothing fancy but fits the food. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something straightforward. Maybe not a destination place, but I'd go back if I'm nearby.

The fish soup alone is worth coming here for. So much flavor for that price. I got the salmon too, though it came with a bit too much cabbage for my taste. Still, I'd go back just for that soup. Service was nice and the place had a relaxed vibe.

Scrambled eggs with North Sea shrimp at breakfast. Unexpectedly good. Homemade jam too. Solid start before walking around HafenCity. Place feels relaxed, not rushed. Fine for a quick morning bite.

Schnitzel Jägerart was solid, and swapping fries for bratkartoffeln worked well. Upstairs is a nice spot to watch the Hbf crowd.

Stopped by for a late lunch — the gyros were solid, tzatziki nice and garlicky. Portions are generous, no doubt. What got me was the house wine on tap, honestly didn’t expect that with a Greek spot. Went well with the lamb. Only catch: cash only, so come prepared. Service was friendly enough, nothing fancy.

Came for the Hamburger Abendblatt menu. Beef Wellington was spot on—buttery, pink, tasty. Service kept things moving. Nice spot for a quick bite.

Loved the market hall vibe—somehow still felt cozy. The waiter knew his wine stuff, helped us pick a nice bottle without being pushy. Food was solid, especially the grilled octopus. Only thing: it got a bit loud later in the evening. But I'd go back for that dish alone.

Big group of us showed up and they didn't miss a beat. Pizzas and pasta were solid, steak got nods all around. Good spot for a crowd.

Still my go-to spot for lunch in Altona after all these years. Food's been consistently good every single time. Never left disappointed 👍

Shared tables and a busy vibe, but the food made up for it. I had the schnitzel and it was fresh, not greasy at all. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed though.

Nice place to watch the horses from your table. We came with our dog, they made him feel welcome. Food was decent, nothing crazy but well made. Service friendly, no complaints there. Bill came out a bit higher than I expected for what we ordered. Still, the view makes it worth a stop.

The view really is something else, and the whole place has a nice vibe. Staff were friendly too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, got a little stiff after a while.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Schnitzel was fine, nothing fancy, but the staff spoke English well so ordering was easy. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Solid value for the price, food's been consistent every time I've come. Service is fine too. Nothing fancy, but you know what you're getting.

The burger here was put together really well, tasted fresh. Service was quick too, staff friendly without hovering. Place itself is pretty bare though, just basic tables and chairs, not much atmosphere. Fine for a quick bite but not somewhere you'd linger. I'd come back if I'm in the area and want something easy.

Right on the Alster, so you get that nice open view while you sit. I had the watermelon iced tea, pretty refreshing on a warm day. The vibe is relaxed, the kind of place where you can just hang out for a bit. Seats are fine, nothing fancy, but the location does most of the work here.

Lovely spot for a girls' catch-up, but we showed up late and the kitchen was already closed. 😅

Gluten-free pasta here is actually good — tried the penne and didn’t miss the regular kind. Solid lunch spot, though it’s a bit snug inside.

Stopped by just for a beer, ended up staying longer than planned. Place has a decent vibe, staff was friendly enough. Didn't eat but the plates coming out of the kitchen looked pretty good. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a relaxed drink.

The brunch buffet looked amazing and everything was super fresh. Great spot to catch up with friends over good food! 😊

Lots of Brötchen and cake options, that’s for sure. Just don’t expect fast service, it’s pretty old-school here. Took a while to get my order, but the pastries were solid.
