Been coming here for a while now, and the food stays consistent. That grilled meat with the herb sauce is still my go-to. Service was good, though it did get a bit busy later in the evening. The tea was a nice touch on a cold day. Not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for.

Went for the Sunday brunch last week. The Mediterranean spread was solid—olive oil actually tasted fresh, not the cheap stuff. Owner came by our table and talked about slow food for a bit, that was nice. Place was pretty relaxed, no rush. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I left full.

Sandwiches were really fresh and the coffee hit the spot. Prices are a bit much for what you get, but honestly the quality makes up for it. Solid lunch stop.

The burgers here are genuinely better than your average fast food spot. Patty was juicy, bun held up nicely. Fried sides came out hot and crispy. My friends and I grabbed a table after work, easy vibe for hanging out. Just skip the frozen yogurt, it's kinda meh. Would come back for the burgers though 🍔

Fresh ingredients, veggies cooked properly. Got takeaway - packaging was smart. Herbs, noodles, sprouts all separate so nothing turned soggy. Menu's got everything from sushi to soups. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Crispy duck, cooked properly. Ordered and got the food within minutes. Nice for a quick bite. It's self-service though, so you clear your own tray. Fine with me.

Decent spot in the Portuguese quarter. The grilled sardines were pretty good, honestly better than some I had in Lisbon. Prices fair for the quality. Would come back.

Stumbled in here after getting off the train near Hauptbahnhof. Had the flammkuchen and honestly, the portion was decent for what you pay. Not the cheapest spot around, but you're not leaving hungry either. English menu helped since my German is still rough. Staff was nice enough, didn't have to wait long for the bill.

Came for the pizzas, waited maybe 15 minutes even though it wasn’t packed. Dough had that nice char, toppings were generous. Place itself is a bit tired, and yeah, you’ll smell like the kitchen afterwards. But the pie was solid, so I can’t complain much. Would grab a table outside if the weather cooperates.

The carbonara here was properly done—creamy, not too heavy, with real guanciale. I appreciated that they didn’t overload it with cream like some places do. Sat outside, which was pleasant enough. My only small gripe: the pasta could’ve been a touch more al dente. But for a quick lunch in the center, it hit the spot.

Been here a few times. Casual spot, food comes out fresh mostly. Saw a couple dishes that looked like they'd been sitting since lunch though. Kids dig it. Fine for a quick dinner.

Great spot for a casual catch-up with friends. Food was solid, though the veggie main was a bit meh. Loved the Alster view though! 🌿

The grilled octopus was spot on. Tender, smoky, just enough salt. Didn't care much about the crowd or the open kitchen, but that dish alone makes me want to come back.

The currywurst was solid, arrived in like 15 minutes. Fries could've been hotter but the sausage itself had good flavor.

The cereal coffee was surprisingly smooth — no jitters afterwards. Cozy little place, felt like sitting in someone's living room.

Came for the paella, which was decent, but the whole cash-only thing caught me off guard. No card, so make sure you hit the ATM first. Also, they moved us mid-meal to free up space for a bigger group. Kind of annoying, but I get it. The food was fine, just don't expect a relaxed sit-down.

We stopped in for lunch and the food was really good. Had the grilled sardines, they were fresh and tasty. Prices are fair for the portion you get. The place is right in the middle of the Portuguese quarter, easy to find. Only thing, the chairs are a bit hard, but for a quick meal it's fine. Service was friendly enough.

The dorada was really good — garlic and rosemary stuffing worked well, and the portion was big enough that I left some sides. Staff were friendly and not pushy. Nice spot for a relaxed dinner.

The Sunday lunch crowd was thin, so we had the dining room mostly to ourselves. The doradenfillet was the clear highlight—cooked just right, flaky and moist. Also had the Jacobmuschel, which paired nicely with a dry Riesling. Service was friendly but slow between courses, even with the place half empty. The view from the clean dining room made the wait easier to take.

We ordered the 10-mezza platter for a birthday thing. Everything came out well organized, and the dips were fresh. The hummus was the standout, honestly. Just wish they'd brought the bread out a bit sooner, we were picking at the plate for a while before it arrived. Still, a solid spot for a group.

Stopped by this place in Altona on a whim. Got the Bhö Cha, the salty butter tea — different, but good. Went well with the spicy chili paste on the side. Food was tasty, plating looked nice too. They’ve got Himalayan beer, which I didn’t expect. Cozy little spot, decent vibe.

Cozy spot in Hamburg with a proper coffee ceremony — that alone was worth it. Food was solid too. Place is small, so booking ahead makes sense.

I had a fantastic birthday celebration at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the service was perfect, creating a wonderful experience.

The curry udon hit the spot for a quick lunch. Broth’s thinner than actual curry sauce, more like a soupy version. Still tasty though. Place was quiet enough to actually think. Fine for what it is.

The lemongrass beef with bamboo shoots and zucchini hit the spot—nice heat, came out piping hot. Portion was decent for the price. Service was quick too.

The sushi was fresh, nicely balanced, not overloaded with spices. Service friendly and professional. It’s not the cheapest place, but the quality speaks for itself. I liked the quiet atmosphere too, no loud music, just the sound of people eating. Felt right for a relaxed evening.
