The basement room has that proper old-world vibe. Pork knuckle was solid, beer went down easy. Busy though, book ahead.

Decent spot in HafenCity, nice view into the kitchen. Food's pretty good, creative plates. Shrimp and beef were solid. Some combos didn't quite work for me, but overall fine. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

We went for the tasting menu on a Saturday night. Portions are really generous for a fusion place, we left completely full. 45 euros per person feels fair for what you get. The kitchen sends out a lot of small dishes, so pace yourself. Only thing: service was a bit slow between courses, but the food made up for it.

Decent spot for a quick dinner. Got the schnitzel and it was cooked properly, not dry. Portion size is fair for the price. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Place gets a bit loud when full, but that's about it. Would come back if I'm in the area and need something reliable.

The nachos with pulled pork were a solid start. Churros for dessert hit the spot. Place was packed but food still came out quick. Service kept up fine. Drink list is decent. Price is fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, just a good quick bite.

The burgers hold up well—juicy, fresh ingredients, no complaints. Philly cheese steak was the better pick though. Solid option if you're nearby and don't want to overthink lunch. Service was efficient, got my food without much waiting. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The 'Fry Me a River' chicken burger is hands down the best I've had in Hamburg. Juicy, well-seasoned. Aperol spritz for 5 euros during happy hour was a steal.

The waiter was friendly and the food tasted properly local. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking. They had a decent local beer on tap too, which I appreciated. Place felt a bit touristy maybe, but the vibe was relaxed enough. I’d sit at the window again, watching the street while eating.

Food was good, came quick. Had to wave someone down for the bill a couple times, but that’s fine. Portions are proper big, left stuffed. Decent spot if you’re in the area and hungry.

The Pannfisch was really good. Fish cooked right, sauce had solid flavor. Old-school place, no fuss. That's all I need.

Nice spot right on the Elbe, watching the ships go by. Seabass and risotto were solid, decent portions. Interior's got some charm too.

The service here was genuinely warm without being overbearing. Our waiter remembered our order without writing anything down, which I always appreciate. Plates came out quickly, even when the place got busy around 8pm. Just a solid, comfortable experience. Maybe the music was a touch loud near the back, but it didn't ruin anything.

Nice spot on the harbor. The catch of the day was fresh, and a glass of Sancerre paired well with it. Service was friendly, though it got a bit busy later. Solid choice for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for a while now. The vegetarian stuff is actually decent, not just an afterthought. Had the currywurst with sweet potato fries this time, still good. Place gets busy around 7, so come earlier if you want a quiet table. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

Booked a table for six last Friday on short notice — they were super chill about it. The potato chips instead of regular fries were a nice touch. Would go back just for those.

The potato bowl I got was really fresh—greens still crisp, avocado actually ripe. I asked for vegan and they handled it without any fuss. Portion felt fair for the price. Only thing, the bowl came a bit lukewarm, would've liked it hotter. But for a quick lunch, it does the job.

The veal schnitzel was seriously good — probably the best I've had since getting here. The Hugo cocktail was a nice light touch too. Service was friendly, which I didn't expect around this area.

The truffle linguine was lovely, and the staff made us feel really looked after. Just wish they had more dessert options.

Stumbled in on a rainy night, other spots were full. Burger was solid, service quick. No complaints.

The Labskaus was solid, really well seasoned. Zander and salmon pan fish were good too. Place has a nice vibe, though it did get a bit busy.

The schnitzel was really good, crispy and tender. I liked the open kitchen, it’s a nice touch. The seating was comfortable, which I appreciate. Service was friendly, no rush. Maybe a bit loud, but fine for a casual dinner. I’d come back for the food.

Fabulous cozy fine dining in the heart of the city. The food is superb and the service is exceptionally good.

We stopped by for lunch and I was honestly impressed by how fresh the vegetables tasted. I had the grilled chicken salad and the greens still had that crunch you don't always get. They even asked about allergies before I mentioned mine, which felt thoughtful. Portion was decent for the price. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick lunch, place is small but bright. Got the gyros plate, portion was generous. Tzatziki was decent, lots of fries on the side. Service friendly enough. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Might come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now, and the old gasworks setting still gets me every time. Menu's short, but the food's consistently good. Service was okay, not super attentive, but it didn't ruin anything. Just a solid spot I keep going back to.

Service was good, not too pushy. They handled my wife's allergies well, adjusted a few dishes so she could actually enjoy the meal without worrying. Portions were fine. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Everything we ordered came out properly cooked and seasoned. Consistent quality, which is harder to find than it should be.

Came here for dinner and honestly liked the vibe a lot. The staff knew their stuff, helped us pick without being pushy. Food was solid, nothing crazy but well made. Slightly on the pricier side though. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

We’ve eaten here so many times, and it never disappoints. The staff actually remembers us, which I love. Food is always solid, nothing fancy but done right. Place gets a bit loud on weekends, but that’s kind of part of the charm. Just a dependable spot we keep coming back to.
