The place gets packed on weekends, it's pretty cozy. But the food keeps me coming back. Tried the grilled mackerel today, skin was perfectly crisp and the flesh stayed moist. That's not easy to get right.

Came here with a couple friends for drinks. The cocktail menu is huge, and they have a really deep wine list. We tried a few different things, all solid. Good place to hang out.

The charcoal grill was a nice touch, made the whole thing feel more hands-on. Had a good time chatting and grilling our own skewers with friends. The smoke did get a bit much inside though.

Prices were good for what you get. The portions are generous, especially in a tourist spot like Shirahama. My main dish was huge and tasty. Felt like a solid deal.

The grouper lunch set was a nice surprise. I really appreciated the variety of preparations—sashimi, shabu-shabu, grilled. For the price, it felt like a balanced and thoughtful meal. The fish itself was very fresh.
