Lovely little spot in Wanstead. The pastries are incredible - the almond croissant was so flaky and buttery, still warm. Perfect with a coffee on their patio.

Popped in for a beetroot gnocchi on a whim. That dish was the highlight - really flavourful and well-made. The service was decent, though the place felt a bit quiet for a Friday.

Been coming here for years, and their scones are always fresh and warm. The clotted cream is generous, just how I like it.

The ambience at Cicchetti is absolutely amazing, perfect for special occasions. Our waiter, Marco, provided immaculate customer service that made our belated birthday dinner unforgettable.

A solid, no-frills lunch spot. The house red was a surprisingly good match for their classic dishes. Reliable and easy.

The beef skewers were lovely - the meat was so tender and fresh. A solid choice for Portuguese classics.

The menu here is pretty good for dietary needs. Lots of gluten-free and vegan options, all clearly marked. Makes ordering straightforward. The food itself was decent.

Nice spot in Brentwood. The murals inside are lovely, really set the mood. Food was pretty good.

The gluten-free pizza base is surprisingly light and fluffy! Really impressed with the topping choices too.

Love the vibe here, it's so cosy and the staff are lovely. Came for a solo lunch, their paninis are spot on. The lighting is just right, not too bright. A really nice spot to just be.

A solid spot for a casual dinner with mates. The wine list is surprisingly decent for the price point, had a nice red that went well with the steak. Might be a bit loud on a weekend night, but that's the trade-off.

Stopped by most evenings while in town. The fried chicken is spot on - not greasy, with a really nice depth of flavour. Found a local lager that paired surprisingly well with it. Service was always quick, even when busy.

Leticia was brilliant. She suggested the special and it was spot on. Never had to ask for a refill or anything, she just kept an eye on us. Made a good meal even better.

Came for the 2-for-1 cocktails. The passion fruit elderflower Collins was a nice surprise, really refreshing. The Stormy Mojito was good too. Space was cool and not packed, which I liked. Drinks took a little while to come out, but it was a relaxed evening anyway.

The mixed grill platter was a good choice, really generous portions and everything tasted fresh. The lamb was particularly tender. I appreciated the comfortable booth seating, made the whole meal feel relaxed.

A lovely little spot in Greenwich. The sausages are the main draw - you can tell they're made fresh. I went for the sausage bap with egg and fried onion. The egg was just runny enough, and the bun was really soft. It felt like a proper, simple breakfast.

The Italian sausage hash with poached eggs is a solid choice. Portion size is decent for the price, you definitely won't leave hungry. The eggs were perfectly runny, which was a nice touch.

The hummus here is unreal. Honestly the best I've ever had. Perfect for a quick lunch. Got it with fresh pita and just demolished it.

Gabi was so patient with my friend who’s a really picky eater. She went through the whole menu with us and suggested a few tweaks to a pasta dish. Made us feel really looked after.

Two pies, mash with liquor, and two coffees came to under £20. That's good value for central London. The pies were solid, proper comfort food. Coffee was decent. Service was quick, which I appreciate on a working lunch.

The scones were lovely and fresh, just perfect with the clotted cream. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole afternoon feel very relaxed. A really pleasant spot for a quiet treat.

Really liked the vibe here. It's got that industrial-chic thing going on, but the lighting is soft and the chairs are actually comfortable. You could easily spend a couple of hours just relaxing.

Been here a few times now. The staff are always really friendly and polite, which makes a big difference. It’s just a nice, relaxed vibe every time you walk in.

Service was really on point even though it was packed. They checked in a few times to let us know our table was almost ready, which was nice. Felt looked after without being rushed.

Hina was great. Really attentive, remembered our drinks, and had a lovely way about her. Made the whole evening feel a bit more relaxed. Service like that is a nice touch.

They were very careful with my nut allergy, double-checking the menu and the kitchen. It's a relief to eat out without worrying. The food was decent, though the wait was a bit long.
