This pub has a lovely atmosphere, perfect for families. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made our visit enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it for a casual outing.

Nice pub with a lovely garden. The menu had some interesting choices you don't see everywhere. I went for the braised lamb shank – it was cooked perfectly, fell right off the bone. A solid, tasty meal in a relaxed spot.

The steak and ale pie was the highlight. The pastry was flaky and buttery, the filling rich and tender. Could have used a bit more gravy, but the flavour was spot on. That's what I come for.

Great spot for live music. The band last night had a nice, relaxed set that fit the pub's vibe perfectly. Not too loud, just right for a pint and a chat.

Lunch was nice. The staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole thing feel relaxed. I liked the vibe - it was just a good place to be for a bit.

The rooftop bar offers stunning views of Cambridge, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion or a relaxing evening.

The bang bang cauliflower is so good, I'm still thinking about it. Perfectly crispy with that spicy-sweet sauce. Giancarlo was lovely, but honestly, the cauliflower stole the show.

The refurb looks nice, feels cosy. Good for a chilled lunch.

Leffe on tap was a nice surprise, and it tasted properly kept. The beer selection overall is better than a lot of pubs. Sat on the patio in the evening, and the lighting was just right.

Solid Sunday roast. The meat was a really nice cut, cooked just right. Good selection of veggies too. Felt like a proper, no-fuss meal. Hit the spot.

The steak and ale pie was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The crust was just right. Friendly service that makes you feel right at home. A lovely, comforting meal.

Grabbed a takeaway breakfast here. The scrambled eggs were so fluffy, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The avocado on the side was perfectly ripe. It was a nice, simple start to the day.

Love the vibe in the cellar bar! It's got these low ceilings and cosy little rooms, perfect for catching up with mates. The real ale from the barrel is a nice touch. Just be ready for it to get a bit loud when it's busy.

Hadn't been out in ages. The steak was cooked just right, and the staff were brilliant. The real treat was the sommelier's suggestion for a red to go with it—spot on. Made the whole evening.

Nice spot to catch a game. Staff were really friendly. Had the fish and chips - the batter was crisp and the chips were proper chunky. A solid choice for a casual bite.

Classic pub, nothing fancy. Clean and spacious. Good for a quick bite, the fish and chips came out fast. Decent spot for a pint and a game of pool.

Nice relaxed spot for a drink. The music volume was just right for conversation. I had a decent Cabernet, though the selection felt a bit limited. Enjoyed a game of darts while sipping.

Tried the chicken sharer platter for the first time. The wings had so much flavour, and those tenders were juicy inside with a really crispy coating. Just a solid, tasty plate of food.

David was so patient with us, even when it got really busy. He kept checking in, made sure we had everything. Just a nice guy who clearly cares.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The Oakham Citra was spot on, honestly the best pint I’ve had in ages. Food was decent too. Just a solid place for a beer.

The Red Lion offers an exceptional dining experience with attentive service from staff like Jack and Gracie, making every visit memorable.

The landlady and the locals are so welcoming! Felt like a proper local hangout, perfect for a casual pint with friends.

The atmosphere at this pub is fantastic, with a warm welcome and friendly staff that make you feel right at home.

Nice local. The vegan options are a real plus - had the jackfruit burger last night and it was spot on. Staff are always friendly, quiz night's a laugh. Food's generally reliable, just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

The staff were so nice! They even got us some chips from the kitchen even though it wasn't on the menu. Made our catch-up feel really easy.

The new owners did a lovely job with the woodwork inside. It’s cozy and feels warm, like a proper local spot now. Just a nice place to be.

Popped in for a Sunday roast. The beef was spot on, really tender. Nice vibe with the music in the background. A solid, cosy way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The lobster was spot on, not overcooked at all. Fries were classic and crispy. Simple, but really hit the spot. Just a solid, satisfying meal.

I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Quart Pot for a family gathering. The food was amazing, especially the prawn and calamari duo, and the service was spot on with just the right timing between courses.

Been coming here for years and the pizza's always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.
