Solid spot for tapas. The patatas bravas were spot on, and the jamón had that perfect texture. Reminded me of a place I used to go to in Barcelona. Service was efficient, got our order right away. A bit tight on space between tables, but that's minor. Good for a straightforward meal.

Had a wake here. The staff were really considerate, gave us a quiet room to ourselves. The buffet was surprisingly varied, plenty of options and good portions. They made a difficult day a bit easier.

Burgers are fresh and huge portions for the price. Perfect for a quick, filling lunch. Got mine in under 10 minutes. Solid spot.

Been here a few times now. The food is solid, and the vibe is always lively. What I really appreciate is their wine list – they’ve got some interesting, affordable bottles that actually pair well with the heartier dishes. Makes for a relaxed evening out.

A decent range of craft beers that rotates. Good spot for ale in Stevenage, and the pool table's a nice touch.

Reece was a great server, really attentive without being overbearing. Sarah the manager also popped by, which was a nice touch. The food was solid, but I wish the wine list had a few more interesting options by the glass.

Lovely outdoor area with the covered seating, great for our group of six. The garden is huge and they even have a ping pong table. Inside feels cosy with sofas and a pool table. A good spot for a casual catch-up.

Staff are always smiling, really nice. Makes a quick lunch feel a bit nicer. Food comes out fast too, which is what I need. Good spot for a quick bite.

Popped in for a pint after a walk. Sat in the garden, which is huge and really peaceful. Had a local pale ale on tap, it was spot on. Just a nice, easy place to chill for a bit.

The 2 for £14.99 deal is a solid find. Food was tasty, though the portions were a bit on the small side.

Proper local pub, really friendly. The Guinness is poured perfectly here. We grabbed a few bar snacks with our pints, decent and not pricey. Just right for a casual catch-up with mates.

Popped in for a sunny Friday lunch. The beer garden is lovely, a mix of sun and shade. Had the mushroom pie - the pastry was just right, not too heavy. A really relaxed spot.

Noticed the pub's looking a lot tidier these days. Everything just feels more organised, which is a nice change. Makes it a much more pleasant spot for a quiet pint.

Cocktails were spot on. The manager’s a real character, had a good chat with us. Made a random Tuesday feel a bit more lively.

No. 2 of Bars in Cambridge

We're regulars and the staff are always so welcoming. The wine list is spot on for the menu, which keeps us coming back.

Great spot for a quick pint after work. They've got Milton Brewery on tap, which is a nice touch. Staff are friendly, didn't have to wait long at all. Atmosphere is relaxed, just what you need.

The burger menu is huge, which is great. I went for the classic cheeseburger. The patty was cooked just right, juicy and not dry at all. The bun held up well too, didn't get soggy. Solid choice if you're just after a good burger.

Solid local pub. Feels authentic, not trying too hard. Grabbed a pint after work, the regulars were friendly. Good spot if you just want a classic pub vibe.

Popped in for a quick bite. Staff were really friendly and efficient, which was nice. Appreciated that they let me swap the side salad for fries without any fuss. Solid casual spot.

A solid local pub, slightly off the beaten path. Ideal for a quiet pint. The beer selection is decent, and the bar staff are efficient. Good spot if you have a dog with you. Food is fine for what it is.

Good to see this place feeling lively again. The new dart board is a fun addition, had a few casual games while waiting for the food. The fish and chips were solid, classic pub grub done right.

The staff here are lovely. They remembered my name from a previous visit and checked in just the right amount. It’s that kind of personal touch that makes a meal feel more like a treat.

Lovely little pub with a courtyard. Came for a late lunch. The salad was really fresh, crisp greens and a light vinaigrette. Appreciated that they had a few lighter options on the menu. The heaters are a nice touch for cooler days.

Cottage pie and hunter's chicken were spot on. The mash on the pie was creamy, chicken was juicy. Exactly what you want from a pub meal.

Lovely spot for a quiet evening. The staff were genuinely friendly and chatty, which made the whole visit feel relaxed and easy. I found a comfy corner seat and just enjoyed the music. A really nice, low-key place.

Good spot for a quiet drink. Near the hospital, so convenient. Clean and comfortable. Just what we needed.

A quirky pub in a converted toilet near the arts centre. The small menu is well-curated, and the wine list had a surprisingly good pairing for my steak.
