Server Subha was great. Explained the menu well, solid recommendations. Made sure everything was right. Friendly, made the evening.

The food was very good, however waiting for drinks did take quite a while. as they were so busy. The cask ale was cloudy and at the end of the barrel and they did not have any other Ales at all, which was disappointing. This may have been a supply issue!

Decent spot for authentic food. The chicken feet were a bit bland, but everything else was pretty good.

Parking was a nightmare, but Amel saved the day! He actually ran our takeaway order out to the car for us. So nice of him. Made our little friend catch-up way less stressful.

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal at the Harvester in Stanway, Colchester, Essex. The effort and willingness expressed by out waitress (Laura) was worthy of high praise. This employee worked tirelessly in make the evening a huge success.Thank you,Bill

As with any Buffett type restaurant there are good and bad things. But that said you know what you’re signing up for when you go there. So queuing for your dinner is a given. The staff were lovely, food hot and plentiful and had a money off coupon too plus earned Yums - all in all a good night.

Popped in for a last-minute lunch and got a table straight away. The staff were so chill about swapping an item in my salad, made it easy for our group.

Have been there a some time ago. Service was very good taff very good and the food was excellent and really good value for money

Decent afternoon tea. The sandwiches were fresh and the cake selection was solid.

The Sunday roast was pretty good. The meat was tender, and the potatoes had a nice crisp to them. It’s a decent spot for a relaxed weekend lunch.

The setting is stunning, but the food is what I remember. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender, with a smoky char that didn’t overpower the natural sweetness. Paired it with their house white. That’s the dish I’d come back for.

Had the jerk kebab last night and it was spot on. Really nicely spiced, and the char on the skewer was just right. Shenel was so friendly, made us feel right at home. Good tunes as well.

Nice spot by the water, decent atmosphere with the music. The vibe is pretty good for a relaxed evening. A bit on the pricier side, but fine for the location.

Convenient car park, just register your plate inside. Got a quick lunch here, burger and chips were decent. Service was fast, which is what I needed. Good for a no-fuss bite.

The sourdough class with Alex was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and his passion is infectious. The real highlight for me was the wine pairing suggestion he had for the finished loaf – a perfect match. A really engaging way to spend an afternoon.

A decent spot for a quick pre-train bite. Service was prompt and the cocktails were pretty good. I enjoyed the peach starter, but the crab risotto was a touch too sour for me.

Cosy little place, had a relaxed brunch. The owner was very accommodating when they ran low on an ingredient for my dish, made a nice alternative. Everything tasted fresh.

The chicken tikka wrap is the thing here. The chicken's properly spiced and grilled, the naan wrap stays soft. It's a solid, fresh option for a quick bite.

The atmosphere is charming and cozy, reminiscent of a classic American diner. It's a perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family.

No. 3 of Local Restaurants in Cambridge

Lovely spot. The staff were really attentive, and we could pick our own table which was nice. The whole evening felt relaxed, they got the pacing just right.

The loyalty card is a decent touch for regulars. I popped in for a quick bite and a glass of wine, and the staff mentioned the rewards after a few visits. It's a nice little perk, though the wine list could be a bit more adventurous.

The lighting's brighter, feels more open. But the main thing is the food. Had the lamb shank, the meat just fell off the bone. Rich, deep flavour in the sauce. That's what I come for.

The roast dinner was lovely, especially those potatoes - so fluffy inside and crispy outside. It's a very reasonably priced meal. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy.

Quick bite sorted. The breakfast looks just like the menu photo, and it's a proper fry-up. Good portion for the price. Got my food fast, which is key for a lunch break. Solid.

Lovely to sit in the garden on a sunny day. The inside is always lively but well-managed, which makes for a relaxed meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Loved the mixed cold starter and baklava. But honestly, the free bread stole the show - best I've ever had! The server was so sweet. Perfect spot for a chill catch-up with friends.

Sarah was our server, and she was just lovely. Cheerful, attentive, got our order spot on with all our little tweaks. The wine list is decent, and she had a good suggestion for a glass to go with my steak. A solid, friendly spot.

The eggs benedict was done just right, with the hollandaise on the side. A lovely start to the day.

Fish and chips on a Friday is a nice idea. The haddock was decent, batter was crispy. Good to see it's available for takeaway too.

Booked for a group of 50. Staff handled it well, no fuss. Food was good – heard a few people say they liked the place. Did the job for a big dinner.
