The scones were a real treat! Crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and the clotted cream was so thick. Honestly, I could have just had those and been happy. A proper highlight.

A lovely little spot in the gardens of Valentine's Mansion. Sat outside with my tea, which was just right. The homemade soup smelt amazing from the next table. It's all very peaceful here, a nice escape. The cakes looked incredible, had to resist!

Popped in for brunch. The Turkish eggs were spot on, creamy and rich. Staff were friendly, got my coffee out quick. Nice spot for a casual bite.

The breakfast was pretty good, and the service was quick. Staff were welcoming, which was nice. My eggs were cooked just right. It's a decent spot for a casual morning meal.

Been coming here for years, always get the avocado toast with poached eggs. They never mess up the runny yolk, which is harder to find than you'd think. Coffee's decent. It's just a reliable spot for a proper breakfast.

Love the homemade feel here. The hash browns are fresh grated, which you don't see often. Sausages are from East London Sausage Co. – really good quality. For the price, you get a proper, hearty portion. Felt like a good deal for a full breakfast.

The space has this lovely, cosy feel to it. It’s the kind of place where you can just sink into a chair with a coffee and not feel rushed. They’re dog-friendly too, which is a nice touch.

The bacon and egg baguette here is just right. Simple and delicious, a proper local favourite. The bread was perfectly crisp.

Been coming here for years. Their full English is always spot on - never greasy and ready in a flash even on busy mornings.

Been coming here for lunch for ages. The food is always reliable, and the staff are just so friendly. It's a comfortable spot where you can have a quiet, easy meal. The tables are well-spaced, which I really appreciate.

A friend suggested this spot, and it was a good call. The caramel latte is really nice. Had it with a ham and cheese croissant panini, which was a fine pairing. Service was friendly, and it's quiet in there.

Decent afternoon tea. The sandwiches were fresh and the cake selection was solid.

Cosy little place, had a relaxed brunch. The owner was very accommodating when they ran low on an ingredient for my dish, made a nice alternative. Everything tasted fresh.

Fish and chips on a Friday is a nice idea. The haddock was decent, batter was crispy. Good to see it's available for takeaway too.

The vegan naan wrap is the thing to get. The bread is fresh and soft, not dry at all. The spiced chickpea filling has a good kick to it, and the mint chutney cuts through it nicely. A solid choice if you're after something plant-based.

The tapas were spot on, but the real star was the wine list. Found a fantastic Rioja that paired beautifully with the chorizo and patatas bravas. Staff were great, got our big order out all at once. A bit pricey on the drinks, but worth it for the pairing.

Turkish eggs were a flavour bomb, the nduja crumb is genius. Perfect for a long, lazy brunch with friends. Pancakes were super fluffy too. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the vibe is spot on for a catch-up.

The roast lamb was spot on. Juicy, tender, and came with a generous heap of fresh veg. It's exactly what you want from a Sunday roast. A solid, no-fuss meal.

The vegan toasties are a decent choice, and the salad boxes are always fresh. They switch up the ingredients each day, which is nice. A solid spot for a quick, healthy lunch.

The bread-making class was a decent hands-on experience. The instructor was helpful and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed. A nice way to spend a morning, though the group size was a bit large for my liking.

Had the sizzling lasagne and raspberry cheesecake here. The lasagne comes out hot and bubbling, perfect for sharing with a couple of friends. Portions are huge, we couldn't finish it all. The cheesecake was a nice touch to end the meal.

The scones were a real highlight. Warm, crumbly, and they give you a generous amount of clotted cream and jam. Just perfect with a pot of tea.

The hot chocolate was rich and the chai latte had a lovely spice. The real highlight was the service, though - our waiter had some great suggestions for a dessert wine to go with the pastries. Made for a very relaxed afternoon.

Stumbled upon this place on a walk. The pistachio and rose cake was lovely - not overly sweet, and the portion was generous for the price. I really liked the relaxed, airy feel of the space.

The staff were so kind when I asked about a custom sandwich. They used fresh avocado and whole grain bread for me, which was exactly what I was looking for. Really appreciated them taking the time to make it just right.

The vegan fry-up is a solid choice for brunch with friends. Not greasy at all, which is a win. Staff were really lovely and helped us sort out a table for our group. A nice spot for a catch-up.

The rhubarb cake was super fresh, and the cappuccino was a nice surprise – really smooth.

The pastries are lovely and the coffee is very good. A nice spot to stop while exploring Cambridge.

The pies are consistently decent, with a nice flavour and texture. The mash is pretty good too, and the liquor has a natural colour. A solid choice for a simple, filling meal.

The eggy bread was lovely, really fresh and not too sweet with the maple syrup. The cast iron teapot was a nice touch, felt very rustic. A solid choice for a relaxed weekend breakfast.
