Really appreciate the solid veggie and vegan options. And those chips? Honestly some of the best around.

Popped in for a quick drink but the place was so cosy we decided to stay. Had the Italian bread toastie, which was really nice, with crisps and a little salad. The booths are super comfortable, perfect for a relaxed lunch.

Baristas Porto and Josh are friendly. Their coffee is probably the best in town.

Been grabbing lunch here for years. The baguette is always fresh, and the brownie is a proper treat. Lots of bread and filling choices to pick from. The ladies running it are lovely, always have a friendly word.

Good spot for a quick coffee and sandwich. Dog-friendly, which is convenient when I'm out with mine. Menu has enough variety for a simple lunch. Service was prompt, got my order in and out efficiently.

The pancakes here are a proper treat! Fluffy, with just the right amount of berries and that warm maple syrup over the ice cream. The portion is huge, honestly could have shared. The place itself is cosy and buzzing, nice lighting too.

Our regular lunch spot in Saffron Walden. Menu's got something for everyone, which is key. Staff are always friendly, and they're great with dogs. Just a solid, reliable place.

The coffee here is always reliably good, even when the airport is packed. I really appreciate that they use fresh, organic beans. It's my go-to for a quick and decent cup before a flight.

The decaf coffee here was a real surprise. Full-bodied, no burnt taste, actually tasted like proper coffee. Stopped in for a quick one and it hit the spot.

Hawkstone on tap, always a good sign. Had a couple pints with lunch, and it was just right. Crisp and refreshing, exactly what you want on a warm afternoon. The food was decent, nothing fancy, but the beer really hit the spot.

Been coming for years, the full English is always spot on.

Nice spot for a lazy Sunday. The coffee was spot on. Had the halloumi and mushrooms with poached eggs on sourdough - really hit the spot. Just a bit pricey for what it is.

Good spot for catching up with friends. We grabbed a table upstairs, which was nice and cosy. It does get packed on weekends though, so maybe go a bit earlier if you want to avoid the rush.

Loved the vibe in this little indie spot. The sponge cakes are honestly so fresh and light, just perfect with a coffee. They’ve got a few tables out front for people-watching, which is a nice touch. Service was really sweet, too.

Prices have definitely gone up, especially on the specialty drinks. My espresso tonic was good, but felt a bit steep for what it was. Still a nice spot though.

The tea and cake were fresh and nicely presented, decently priced too. But what really stood out was seeing the staff handle a tricky customer with such calm. It was quietly impressive.

Didn't get to eat, but the flat white was spot on. Price was fair for the area, and the portion was generous in a proper mug. Nice, relaxed vibe in the shop to enjoy it.

Been coming here for years. Their quiche is always spot on, and the cakes are just like my mum used to make. Simple, honest food at a fair price.

Great coffee and the cakes are lovely, especially the gluten-free ones.

The veggie omelette was really good, packed with cheese and fresh bits. But honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price. I left thinking I could've made something similar at home for less.

The coffee's great, but for the price I was hoping for a slightly bigger portion. Still, I'll probably grab one next time I'm in Hitchin.
